Technical Analysis on a coin that hasnt seen the light of day yet in terms of volume is not adequate. A fundamental inspection of the coin would put it's true value way higher than current, as Masternodes become active and even more leave circulating supply in this fashion. The coin will become quite scarce on the markets as it will be a nice store of value - with a charitable effect.

Indeed after a certain amount of time, buyers will be trying to anticipate the DAO BBP Sale, as this will become the most opportune moment to acquire more BBP - investors will stop selling bbp for such low price after awhile.

Masternodes make BBP a product and service - if you have BBP you can make more BBP.

This would actually be closer to Fundamental Analysis. A portion of the BBP mined for the DAO 10% reward must be sold for BTC and then it goes to the orphans. Feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.

Actually 20% of the BBP mined goes to the DAO.  10% for charity, 5% for IT, 2.5% for PR and 2.5% for P2P (ie, pay-to-preach, but includes a host of general activities).  The 10% for charity had been getting sold sporadically, we have to vote in the DAO on how to progress from there.  A lot of the IT PR and P2P budget will likely be paid out in BBP but that is yet to be seen.  What the recipients do with it from there is up to them but for now, most the people likely to receive that sort of payment are firm believers in the coin and I'd guess will hold on to it.

The last tithe height is just too close to masternode start, and in addition, weve already mined up to 21559, so we found it easier on everyone instead of asking people to roll back the chain and deal with errors, to move our last tithe block forward 1 block (then there will be no errors).

So, I apologize for all the inconvenience today.   Now this means we need all the linux users to upgrade to 1.0.6.8.


After that, it should allow us to mine forward on the linux side.


Windows 1.0.6.8 is compiling now.

Patience is the key on these things.  Why do you think new coins have such a dramatic chance to appreciate?  It's for EXACTLY these reasons, if you want a stable coin, go to DASH, pay six figures for a Masternode and it should work.  This is a coin in progress, it will get where it needs to.  If problems such as this cause you such consternation, then come back in July and everything should be working swimmingly.

Alright, I just got rid of that block that got us stuck so I think we're fine for now. We decided to delay the masternode payments until #21600. We still have to look at what happened.

The positive thing is that Rob has really good news that he will probably share with all of us soon.

I think everyone can now download that version and have the joy of mining BBP back in their lives.

You may have to clean up your .biblepaycore folder. Try to get rid of blocks, chainstate, database, peers.dat,  mncache.dat and mnpayments.dat.
