You could join GRCPOOL at the moment as well.. since after the team requirement lifted they added BBP to their mining.

The problem I see is the stake required to operate such a pool...

but as i quickly check i'll need to start from zero with pool account. i cant use my actualy owned account. so it is question if it will be beneficial for me as i only get grc, but will pay pool fees for bbp, bb, neuman...

Btw guys, I've been testing out GIN and they seem to be solid (been up for a few weeks now and they maintained the nodes).

Well, I am pretty saddened to see that there is already a new poll about having "POG v2" right after the first poll ended with "Exploring simplifying PODC" as a winner.

Frankly, I am not even sure why these polls exist. Are we going to have a new poll as long as the result is not what is expected?

I personally do not think it is going to help with adoption or value. I do think this uncertainty about the current PODC stake requirement is probably affecting Biblepay negatively, i.e, why would I buy coins to stake now if it may be removed soon?

I guess let's see the results of this new poll.

This is unrelated to the POG or algorithm discussion but I thought I would share my point of view on it:

I saw an interesting message by BBP537 in the "Mass Adoption for BiblePay II" thread. One thing that I would like to address from his post is that this person seems to forget that the coin needs value in order to help anyone. You can have x amount of coins to give but if they are worth nothing, you are not going to go far. This coin, and all other coins, have no intrinsic value. What gives them value is the exchange of resources in order to acquire them (electricity, computing power, stake, money, time, etc.). It is therefore normal for people that give more (and risk more) to receive more, and for people that give less, to receive less.  If you give nothing (or can't give), then you receive nothing. If you want charity (this coin dedicates at least 10% of its monthly emission to charity through proposals), maybe you should make a proposal, as with all other charity efforts. The charity efforts of this coin are through proposals (from the 10% budget), not mining.

The primary changes include:  A monthly deflationary cap on tithes to the foundation, a change back to sure pool payouts (removing the uncertainty principle), and requiring coin-age in order to send a tithe (preventing tithe attacks).

Thanks, found it, so I spoke to Rattle about it, he said we have nothing to worry about. If we are increasing our node count (which we appear to be) then the GIN masternode owners will have a propensity to try to vote us out of Tier 3 into tier 2.  He said we have no risk of being delisted right now (we have been in tier 3 forever).

Rattle will give us his votes to move us up to tier 2 also!

Frankly, I am not even sure why these polls exist. Are we going to have a new poll as long as the result is not what is expected?

Rob was concerned PoG v1 had some holes specifically with the ability to game the donation scheme so you can get the biggest percent of payments by running hundreds of BiblePay QT wallets.  PoG v2 has some of those issues addressed by utilizing concepts from an altcoin called Lynx (getlynx.io) via their HPoW (Hybrid Proof of Work) which uses some clever tricks to equitably distribute mining rewards using code and data from the blockchain.

I'm in support of PoG v2 with the caveat that it replace Proof of Work (BiblePay calls it Proof of Bible Hash PoBH) as a test. I think PoG v2 can be viable, but just need to test the waters slowly. It can also replace PoDC, but needs more support before we think about removing PoDC.
