Hi guys how did u manage to keep bottlecaps on cryptopia . brother coin hobonickels could not. Now only on btcpop.co...

There must be more volume, so that keeps us on there.  And/Or, that we have a dev who has done more work.

it's in maintenance for a week now, chasing some "issues", i guess that qualifies as dead, practically.
nearly a third of the coins on topia have some misterious issues

if so, this is very negative news for the project as a whole. these exchanges have long shown their failure. if it's not a secret, where does this data come from? your guess or official news?

hmm which data you talking about ?
just walk around here:
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/CoinInfo/

It says CAPS has no connections, but large coins like InflationCoin and LiteDoge are showing only 1 connection.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

it says "22-NOV-2018 - CAP Wallet placed in maintenance while we investigate deposit issues."
if you check how many coins have those "deposit issues" or network smth and for how long some of them,
you'll get the picture, not a pleasant one

Well, let's forget about Cryptopia for the moment.  We need a core of 3 or 4 people who want caps to succeed and are willing to check in about it.

If the explorer is behind or there is no explorer or other issues, cryptopia will likely put it into maintenance until the team from the coin dev resolves the requirements.

There are 3 things we need in order to be able to build any real momentum that applies to all crypto coins in general.

I'm not sure what has happened to my wallet as now I don't get any active connections, does anyone have any active nodes that I can add to my conf file to hopefully get my wallet to sync again. This is the first time I've had this issue as I always have 5+ active connections every day. Thanks in advance.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Todays active nodes. (updated)
Code:
addnode=69.118.194.126:7685
addnode=65.102.140.118:7685
addnode=65.102.140.122:7685
addnode=23.233.2.252:7685
addnode=178.128.53.162:7685
addnode=24.234.35.51:7685

Only wallet on default port can work as node.
Add port 7685 to router manually, because in current version removed UPnP.

CAP mooning! Smiley weeee

24 BTC daily volume?
Should this really have the 4th highest volume @ Cryptopia, surpassing even ethereum? The wallet is out of date and there are only 4 nodes online. It's not even listed on CoinMarketCap anymore.

Heaviest staking I've seen in a long time.

Does anyone know if Cryptopia is open for CAP deposits and withdrawals?

I usually see about 30 connections, when use default port in router.

Thanks.  That worked. I went from 3 connections to 31 real quick.  I always thought nobody was running nodes when it was struggling to connect.  Do you know if the Cryptopia CAP wallet is enabled?

Just to reCAP what I did:

I logged in to my router settings under Port Forwarding and set the following rule to the staking device(IP_address):
Destination Ports 7685
TCP Any -> 7685

Strange day. I opened a ticket to share some nodes last week, CS0091068, it was closed with a thanks.

Coins that have withdrawal issues have had similar moves before, once or twice.

NO DEV TEAM.....SORRY EVERYONE WHO THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO BUY YOUR KIDS CHRISTMAS PRESENTS THIS YEAR YOU GET SUCKED INTO A PUMP AND DUMP ON A DEAD COIN WITH NO DEV TEAM AND NO EXPLORER. i KNEW, i SAW IT HAPPENING. FIRST 3-4 HOURS AGO, DEPOSITS DISABLED.

THE COIN RUNS FROM .04  TO  .44,   THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN DEPOSITS IS ENABLED ALLOWING STAKERS WITH OLD WALLETS TO DEPOSIT AND DUMP.

THEN CRYPTOPIA NOTICED THE ACTION AND HALTED THE COIN TO AVOID FURTHER LIABILITY. THIS COIN WILL BE DELISTED AND EVERYONE HOLDING WILL LOSE EVERYTHING

VERY OBVIOUS SOMEONE IS WORKING WITH SOMEONE AT CRYPTOPIA TO MAKE ALOT OF MONEY TODAY.

Exchanges often freeze when a coin is pumping.  I used to see that on Bittrex often.  This coin is also listed on
https://freiexchange.com.

It's back open again. I'm sure the guy's busy piling on more as it's on the cheap now because of the panic halt. Gotta get himself a vacation to Bermuda for Christmas. lol
