what we need is to create a wallet with btc or bottlecaps donations and give it to an exchange so they take us.
cap is going nowhere now, cryptopia is very small and the actual price is wrong.
caps worth at least 1000sats not 200sats...

There is no volume on Cryptopia, that is why price is very low. We need to push to go to C-CEX it is a lot better than Cryptopia.

They delist for low volume, Cryptopia does not , and Cryptopia has more tradeable coins. Cryptopia is a Great Exchange! However you do want more than 1 exchange. Yobit is like .1 btc to get added just contact them to verify price. Or https://alcurex.org/index.php/crypto/newcoinBuy & Donate 10,000,000 microCoins and coin will be listed in here. FYI: In the C-CEX Exchange Delisting News We have to free up server resources for new coins by delisting some coins which have consistently low trading volume. The following coins will be removed on 19.03.2016 if their average trading volume for the last month has not exceeded 0.2 BTC/day (or 6 BTC for last 30 days): 1337 [1337], AdvancedInternetBlock [AIB], AmsterdamCoin [AMS], AntiBitcoin [ANTI], Argon2Coin [AR2], AmeroX [AX], BitBay [BAY], BitCent [BCENT], BitcoinTX [BTX], Bitquark [BTQ], Burst [BURST], BowsCoin [BSC], GlobalBoost-Y [BSTY], CarbonCoin [CARB], CryptBit [CBIT], CandleCoin [CD], Cloud Mining Asset [CELL], CryptoEscudo [CESC], CleverCoin [CLV], ChipCoin [CHIP], CrownCoin [CRW], Crypto [CTO], Cypher [CYP], Deutsche Emark [DEM], DraftCoin [DFT], DigitalCredits [DGCS], Fantom [FNX], FujiCoin [FJC], GuccioneCoin [GCC], GlobalCurrencyReserve [GCR], GameCredits [GMC], GongYiCoin [GYC], IslaCoin [ISL], Kcoin [KC], IncaKoin [NKA], LiteStarCoin [LTS], Lyrabar [LYB], MapCoin [MAPC], MobileCash [MBL], MotoCoin [MOTO], PrimeChain [PRIME], NewCoin [NEWC], NinjaCoin [NINJA], DNotes [NOTE], Quedos [QDOS], RainbowGoldCoin [RAIN], SaveAndGain [SANDG], ResumeoShares [RMS], SecretCoin [SCRT], SmileyCoin [SMLY], TurboStake [TRBO], StepsCoin [STEPS], UCoin , WorldPay [WOP], BitZeny [ZNY].

I couldn't agree more. For the trade volume of CAP (or HBN or that matter) Cryptopia is perfect. And the 200 sats is just the price at the moment. If you think that's low, buy some. If you think it's high sell some.

I wonder if the community is willing to make a fund raiser of 0.5BTC for YObit.
here's how it works over there:
To add a new coin to Yobit please you need to fill out the form below. Payment method: YobiCode Listing type: • Free - 0.00 btc - no guarantee • Premium - 0.1 btc - 2 business day • Exclusive - 0.5 btc - 1 business day + mail alert to all users
-
0.5btc is very good publicity for (CAP) bottlecaps.
what are you guys thinking about this? because we are not going anywhere right now.

I think we're doing just fine on Cryptopia.

I'll second this. Anyone else seeing other strange stake issues? My current Wallet PoS weight is almost 15x the PoS Netweight of 804625. I have one or two 30+ day big old blocks of caps that are only accumulating weight. I ran a Check/Repair with the same wallet weight bloat. Correlation is not causality but the PoS rate has been climbing fairly high lately and my wallet is open 24/7 with minimal result.

I think we're doing just fine on Cryptopia. I agree. Cryptopia has been very good for my total CAPs accumulation; definitely a buyers market. When there is more of a visible web presence then Yobit and other exchanges may be a good idea.

Over the last couple stake cycles I have migrated from my primary wallet being on windows to one on linux. No weird issues of note with either.

Hello,
I have a newb question. First, thank you for taking the time to read and answer my question. I read online that Hobonickels and Bottlecaps are both pretty high POS coins, HBN being 100% and Bottlecaps being 200% a year. It also said the developer is pretty active which is always good. I was wondering if those interest rates are correct? And are those rates reduced every so often? And if so what does that chart look like? I am not too worried about the lack of volume on exchanges. I think more and more exchanges will pop up, as time goes on creating spots for lesser known alts. I always thought Hobonickels was a joke, but after looking at the high rates, I am serious about diving in. This would be a buy and hold play. Thank you.

I have a question as well. Can I stake in a Cryptopia wallet or do I need my wallet open on my desktop ? Can I shut off the computer over night ?

I would like to know the answer to that question as well. To get the interest does the computer have to be on all the time?

I would like to know the answer to that question as well. To get the interest does the computer have to be on all the time? To stake you have to have it in your own wallet. No it does not have to be on all of the time, you can open the wallet like every 15 days and let it stake, and then close it. Although Bottlecaps & HBN have the reward limit capped per staked block 300 max for HBN and 1000 coin max reward for Bottlecaps.

The maximum stake reward for Hobonickels is 250 coins. So if withdrawing the asset from the exchange to your wallet, do not exceed 9000 coins for every transaction, because 9000 coins roughly matches the maximum stake of 250 HBN.

Both coins use network dependent stake so as much as 200% stake with BottleCaps and as much as 100% stake with HBN. You're subject to the max reward per block mentioned earlier (i.e., CAPs @ 1000 and HBN @ 250). That being said it's been awhile since I got a 1000 CAP stake. While others may suggest otherwise you may also get some extra % out of choosing when to stake and re-organizing your blocks on occasion.

Hi guys, just an observation: A lot of the information on the OP is very outdated. It still have Cryptsy as the Exchange and the link for the explorer doesn't work, among other things.
On another question, is it possible to make the QT run in RP2/3?
Thanks in advance.

I recall a few pages back someone was detailing what they did to get one to compile but I haven't heard much since. I have a RPi on hand and I'm willing to put up 30k CAP if anyone is interested. Also have a Pine64x on the way so maybe we can loop someone in who can focus on helping share CAPs more easily across platforms.

I believe I had Bottlecaps QT running on my RPi1. I absolutely have bottlecapsd running on RPi1. I'll have a look tonight to see if I can remember what changes I had to make. Both Hobonickels and Bottlecaps had a few things that needed tweeked to work on RPi1.
