I've never been scammed. Because I am too careful on investing my money. That is why before I join into something or invest my money, I make sure that it is proven and tested by many trusted users.

no one knows exactly where the scam and what is not, except maybe he has the 6th sense may be hehe, the point back to dirikita each, we do something we really understand and we know. my advice is more careful, because it all depends what we do as well. yes so lah I never experienced it because I myself was not careful.

I have always said that we must inform ourselves about any place and any transaction we are going to make, just as the street is full of criminals, the networks are full of scammers, which is the same. Is not there a forum that tells you about that site other people's experiences? What is the name of the site?

Right now I have not happened like that and hope not and do not happen.
I try to be careful, and try to follow the rules, although sometimes missed, I usually fix it.

Yeah I have been scammed in the past when I was a newbie and wanted to multiply my bitcoins really quick and I fell for doubler sites who promised me to double my coins in few hours and I was newbie I didn't knew that its a scam site so I sent 0.02 btc to their site hoping that I will get double amount in next few hours but I never received anything and I am still waiting for the payment but that experience made me aware that there is nothing like doubling and if you want to double your bitcoins then you have to double your efforts as no one will give you bitcoins for free and since then I have never entertained those sites.

I just came over from the 'Investor Games' subforum (hope I got that right). A guy there said he came across a site asking to double his bitcoin, he paid in $20 and got $40 the following day or so. He then went for a higher plan of $300 hoping to cash out $600 but they asked him to pay in another $300 before cashing out. He got confused and was asking for advice.

I think I've been there before. Before I became a forum member. I once came across one of those scam sites promising to generate bitcoins. Thought it was real, but when they asked me to pay some transaction fee, I was stuck. I had no money to pay the fee. With the benefit of hindsight, I know I'd have sent them the 'transaction fee' had I had the coins to send them.

Now, what have been your experience with internet scams?
How do we help people not to get scammed?

My experience when i was newbie in bitcoin and i saw some promising advertisement of doubling bitcoin for four days. As i was attracted to it,  i tried investing $20 and after four days it was doubled, did it again and got doubled again. I was so excited and shared it through my friends. After referring them, i didn't get referral bonus and my next investment got scam as well as my friends investment.
Lesson learned, do not invest on HYIP.  I've been through many scams before i got to this forum.

People do not believe in such sites that they have to do for their deception. If someone tells you something in the style of "you will give me 1 Btc and tomorrow I'll give you 2 Btc", it is a lie. It's so clear.

I was scammed before in the campaign that I've join all my effort was wasted and I learned my lesson we must be really careful on the campaign that we are joining and also be careful in investing a really big amount some people nowadays are not very trustworthy but I know there are still people who do good and not take advantage with users.

I think I'm also agree with you I do not invest a lot of money in any company and I usually choose carefully in joining any links and sites that they gave to me to visit and I also don't want to lose all my money.

there are many type of scams . me personally car taxi ICO scam us and I didn't receive the right amount of token which is promised .
and also my friend scammed me . I have trust in him because he is the one who teach me about crypto currency . I gave him my private keys in order for me to teach exchange and also convert it to fiat for less fees. but ending in not making that and get 10% of my ETHEREUM . I am mad but I treat it as a payment for his teaching and introducing me the bitcoin. another is one of my friend also who I trusted with. I thought he was trustworthy but ending again in not. I store my bitcoin in his wallet because my wallet is not verified. and when my wallet coinsph get verified I asked him to send the bitcoin to me .
he send it but with missing .012 bitcoin  Embarrassed .

Luckily, I've never been a victim of fraud, but in spite of that, I always try to be alert about it, because in truth, as in any area of any type of business/market, you have to be vigilant about things like that.

Yes I'd been scammed on internet, and it was one of my worst cyber experienced ever. I think the main reason why we people got scammed on the internet is that we always think of what we need and how to get that easily by putting our money on any kind of investment with good to be true promised income or earnings without thinking of its legitimacy, pros and cons,  management, and how it really works. The main problem is lack of information, research and facts about any investment that your about to get in.  We can help other by spreading what we knew about the said investment, if it is legit or not, we need to spread/share information/fact based data for them not to be scammed.

It is really sad but even if people already knew there are scams,  still they got victimized.  Its because scams are also evolving,  even with basic baits,  but the approach is different.  What you have here is a simple ponzi,  but there are still  Lot more we dont know until somebody becomes a victim.  Just  a double your carefullness, anything sounds too good to. be true must be treated extreme care.

Yes, so many sites. specially in investment sites or hyip with high return of interest. After I put my money to their company after 2-4 weeks they gone like a bubble. I didn't forget that, because I am now smart than before.
