When i was new here in crypto world i was scam in a double your money scheme. I just try to invest on that platform because they will give you good amount of profit but it turn out that it will only cause me a headache. Because of that i'm just focus now on trading and don't believe in that crap again.

Yes, I have been scammed several times, but never in cryptos, only by very legit institutions, big banks and including my own country which forced to pay me a fine which was not due.

I just came over from the 'Investor Games' subforum (hope I got that right). A guy there said he came across a site asking to double his bitcoin, he paid in $20 and got $40 the following day or so. He then went for a higher plan of $300 hoping to cash out $600 but they asked him to pay in another $300 before cashing out. He got confused and was asking for advice.

I think I've been there before. Before I became a forum member. I once came across one of those scam sites promising to generate bitcoins. Thought it was real, but when they asked me to pay some transaction fee, I was stuck. I had no money to pay the fee. With the benefit of hindsight, I know I'd have sent them the 'transaction fee' had I had the coins to send them.

Now, what have been your experience with internet scams?
How do we help people not to get scammed?

I was fooled into making a venture and investing, but that time it was not related to the realm of virtual currency, for me that was just a risk I had in doing business and since then I'm more careful

I don’t really trade so it doesn’t really matter in my case I suppose, I use only reputed exchanges and don’t keep my money lying on them so it’s pretty chill from my side

As a practically driven individual, no I haven't been scammed. If I am to invest in to something big or small, it takes time for me to research informations about it's system, may it good or bad.

I never experienced being scammed, I am careful in everything which involve money. I don't easily believe nor to trust especially online transaction. Before engaging research and study it first, being careful is good and won't make you any harm.

There are a lot of scammers out there in the market but you will instantly determined who are the people who are just trying to scam or being a legit trader. There are also phishing sites out there so always be careful when you click the sites because you might lose some of your coins if you over look the domain carelessly.

Yup i’ve been scammed for 5 times and i’m still here, maybe 10 times scams i will stop doing crypto i will end my crypto life. I exert time and effort and still i got nothing. Hoping that this ICO i’ve joined is not w scam anymore.

Sorry to hear that happened to you. I both invest and do bounties. I never got scammed from the projects that I participated to their ICO but I got scammed couple of times from the projects that I participated to bounties. They got the money and run away without giving anything to bounty hunters.

I've learned to stay away from Revenue Sharing Websites as they are all just Ponzi schemes waiting to run away with your money once they think they will have enough to hide from the face of the earth.. People, stay away from revenue sharing websites.

Yes I have unfortunately, that has happened to me by use of the USD, virtual video game currency and Bitcoin. Even though I've been scammed it doesn't deter me from participating with the Bitcoin blockchain still.
It shouldn't, the fact that someone got scammed is not bitcoin fault, people need to learn to be more critical about what they read, I have seen people overly excited about the profits they can get with certain investments and after reading in detail the profits that are promised by some of those websites you can realize immediately that those websites are nothing but scams but people want to believe they can become rich quickly and that is why they invest in things like that.

I have been scammed a couple of times these past months from people claiming to be cryptocurrency traders who would convince you to invest your money in trading then promise that he can give it back double. The next thing you know he already run away with it claiming to have lost all the money in trading.

No I haven't been scammed because I'm afraid to try any investment that I didn't know. I'm afraid to loss my money. Like I'm doing in my bitcoin, I only used it in investment and trading. I don't like to used my bitcoin in Gambling, even my friend always encouraging me to try it.

For me my Bitcoin is my precious. My bitcoin is for me and for my family. I don't want to be scammed by somebody.

At least so far has not been deceived, of course, do not want to be cheated. Because bitcoin was my life's hope for me, I was cautious when investing and I watched team projects very carefully, and not in large numbers, so there was not much to lose.

not at all. On the contrary, I think bitcoin is worth investing. Of course, you should be careful before investing.
