Im just glad I caught it somehow at the start.
arrgh. I just bought 8000 coins for around 50$. Then today I sold them after a downswing with 750% profit at 0.002 ltc. Now it is at 0.006ltc. looks like it's heading downwards real fast

Yeah a,, the Asian market has woken up now to dump the Coin.but I am not perturbed..I was trying to sell just 500 sexcoins al day on cryptsy but it was playing up..because I couldn't buy and sell and do trades as i wanted I am down 0.2 btc thanks to the site not functioning properly..I hope they put sexcoin on coinse as well so we have choice..If one site isn't functioning properly we could trade on another..Or is there another place that trades sexcoin? I would never sell a coin undervalued and selling now would be silly..I think sexcoin has a lot of stuffing in it.. the asian market has been up for awhile, call it the european market started the dump. But don't worry, this is normal when you take 10000% run. I'm surprised it didn't happen earlier. The dump started when a stupid guy placed a 100k offer at .005. Funny, he's still there, maybe he has now learned that trying to sell big blocks creates a selloff

wtf ... cryptsy programmer is clueless about trading systems. just some college kid that thinks writing web pages is cool, but they forget the real meat runs in the background. Trading systems are done with message queue and linked lists and for sure don't use php

I am watching it. These poor guys selling now will hate themselves in a week or two. There are big guys buying it all up. They put in a giant sell order to scare them all. Then they remove it - but it all cheap. Rinse and repeat. This happens over days. Over and over.
The volume is in the millions now. So a 1000 LTC (300k SXC) sell wall is like $35k. The market cap on the coin went up to almost $10 million. $35k is just a drop now in there. But it's looks big when you see it hit. So people that don't know this is normal will panic and sell.
Will go up and down just like BTC does and all the others. But overall.. up and up over time. For probably months to come.
Standard procedure right now.

i hate the people who massively undercut, dont they understand if i have a coin up for lets just say 1, they dont need to sell theirs for .00000000005 to undercut me, .99 will do just fine.
Like others have said im not too worried, if sxc can get accepted in more places the price will shoot up and the mining difficulty will go down again. Imo get a few camgirls to start accepting it and to da moon as they say

I tried to sell since the past 12 hours however Cryptsy just wouldn't let me sell, i thought of holding but the profit was too large to ignore profit taking. I gave up at this point, and i said fuck it i'm just gonna hold on to the coins since the price has really come down now.

cryptsy is so weird, you can't just do a market order - it seems like you have to be the highest bidder (usually above the lowest sell price) to get the lowest price as it moves you to top of the queue.
think I'll move away from it cos when I want to buy or sell I want to do it nowwwww.

Funny, he's still there, maybe he has now learned that trying to sell big blocks creates a selloff It's not the 100k offer that did it, it was the end of the rise. Actually the chart shows a classic elliott wave up with 5 legs. There were a lot of 100k+ sells earlier and did no harm. On another note, I wouldn't get caught up trying to achieve optimum trading, buying at the low and selling a the very tip, it's impossible. For my experience this 2 days, I started with 190k (bought around 0.00012). I sold 120k of them at avg price of 0.00025. Now this is a nice 100% profit, but if I looked at it from the point that it multiplied 30 folds later, I would have had a heart attack . I sold my last 70k at 0.006 (on the rise not the decline), overall I went up from around 2 to 15btc. Had I kept those 120k, I would have much more now, should I regret the selling? I don't, I see it that I made some profit from the 120k, and more profit from the 70k. The downside is, I returned to smoking after 6 months of quitting

Also sxc dropped huge, can't wait for next rise If you have the wrong client, the blocKchain will download only to a point and stop, or be refused connection to the rest of the network.. The right client is in the original post of this thread. So are a list of nodes.

"The database crashed and I had to roll it back to a copy from earlier today. If you're unable to authenticate please re-register your account. I'll be setting pool fees to 0% for two weeks to compensate for the crash. Thanks for your patience with this new mining pool."
"but in the mean time I take all the shit you mined as profit..."
Wow... I guess the last 8 years I have spent building & maintaining db's hasn't really paid off... I mean why else would it be so convenient to delete everyone's shit and start over?... why have I not thought of that yet?..better yet I think I will start my own SXC pool and rob everyone there too... Fuck you Mackenzie pool... headed back to Lavas

OK guys, just a quick update..
All we did is ask to be listed on coinmarketcap.. Then as you all know the price skyrocketed, and anything SXC related got hammered. The faucet couldn't handle the traffic..
As you also know cryptsy trades are lagging.. and there has been a dump, but the price is recovering a little.. I'm personally happy with 0.10 $per sxc considering the price it started at.
We are a bit amazed at the reaction especially since all it was is a little exposure.. It's been very hectic, there's lots of discussion concerning future plans with those who are interested in serious investment, and of course a flood of new blood into the community.
Lava did his best to tweak the pit to take demand, but with network hashrate hitting 3 Gigahash at one point that alone was a big ask..and he was commited to his day job as well. I hope newcomers understand we are a community, not a corporation, and we develop the coin as a community.. No one gets paid a wage and there is no complaints department.
I would like to thank our long term members for their kindness in assisting newcomers with their problems and clarifying various concerns, it really helped us as we haven't been able to respond to every enquiry during this time of unprecedented growth.

Trading systems are done with message queue and linked lists and for sure don't use php Not sure if it's his program that's messed up. If you scroll down to the sell orders you probably won't see that high sell available, which is why it lingers. I tried matching several of the high sells posted over the past couple days and the trades don't execute. I think someone is playing around and cancelling the order before it kicks off. Or they could be trying to fool sellers into thinking there are big buys coming in.

Hi, Are there any plans to develop a Mac wallet? I don't have Windows or Ubuntu, but I am looking to buy into Sexcoin. I'm not really prepared to store 2BTC worth of Sexcoin on Cryptsy's servers - at least until they sort themselves out a little more. Really need mac storage please! Fanx
