In other news, Craptsy still sucks. An hour after trading 5 LTC for SXC a thing popped up saying I had successfully completed a trade for 9 SXC. Woohoo! Now if only I could sell all my SXC for that much LTC. lol!

Hi,

The wallet is not opening , I downloaded the wallet from the official website . Someone sugested I should install something else before. I run windows 7.

I´ve been thinking about the possibilities of this ecoin revoultion and here are my six cents:

- I like the idea of transforming kwh into money but that has a cost in terms of unnecessary polution . Rightfull governments should be able to create fiat money free of debt to pay their public workers , and through taxation to take back enough money to keep inflation in check , and destroy that electronic money. Nowadays we have one part of that , taxes , but money is created as a debt + interests by banks who own the monopoly of create money from nothing using the fractional system. So in fact that creation of money is ilusion since it has to go back to the banks , the only ones who benefit with this system in order to control the world.

-This ecoin is born with the spirit to destroy the monopoly banks have and opens a window to every person to be able to create his own coins using energy . The people is feeling cheated by the system and are starting to understand how far the rabit´s hole goes. The concept is beautifull , energy , the basic pilar of the universe transformed into a coin .

-Many say this is just a scam , a piramidal hoax that will break apart. Well in my opinion its going to take a couple of years more to fall by itself but it wont be by the reasons many think. If it survives legislations such as make them ilegal across the world , since these banks work like a mafia and have nearly all governments as pets. After surviving legislations it has to prove by itself to stand still and be of use for the people .

-Here comes the main problem of its structure , and this is shared by ALL crypto copies of bitcoin. Block chain. Yes that thing that was there for security its going to be its grave. At this rate of growing in size it will be terabites in a couple of years of use, making impossible to carry in your mobile phone and thus making their users to fly in stampide to find another coin with less block chain size that can fit in their phones.

-On those jumps from one coin to another people will lose a lot of money since it will be a rush in days promoted by those with bigger pockets.Even if the coin has reach a high value since difficulty is very high and lots of kwh are needed , it will lose the value when people cant use it confortable.

-Another thing i worry about is the amount of coins this currencies can make . Seriously 300 millions? that is nothing for a global market . There will be demand for sexcoin2 sexcoin3 secoin4 and more . Oh yes now is when you say its divisible right , well personally i dont like machine numbers like 0,000158795 to pay soething you know , i like 15 bucks 5 bucks you get the idea. Again it comes the unconfortable thing about this ecoins.

-Deflationary value. Ok , this is what everybody complains about , those who started first get the big check next year. I agree that the creators of these ecoins should be granted with a big check but my concern about this piramidal thing is not about that , I´m not envious person , gz for your fast earned coins. A coin should have a stable value , inflation hurts the people and deflation hurts the merchants.
The value of a ecoin should be based on the kwh needed to create it .

-To mantain an ecoin price stable from the beginning a new hardware should be needed , one that everyone could buy and easy use. This cube , the size of a hand would use 1kwh to create 0.10 cents and it would be connected to the internet linked with all the other cubes in order to avoid anybody using a different hardware to get extra coins for less energy. The wallet would be in a microsd which you would use then later in a mobile phone and the block chain should be limited in size. With the option for us to save the previous block just in case we want to follow the money to the origins of time.

This is how i see the future of this ecoin project , I hope I didnt screw anything good.

I offered my help in the server arena for sexcoin and was met with the response that servers were handled....after running many sub 1000 alexa sites i am fairly versed in DDOS situations as well as SYN floods and other denial of service attacks...the offer still stands.....i have been looking for a coin to get behind and 19 years in the adult industry would logically point me to this coin...so the offer still stands.....

just shot a message in that Freenode...if i can get some info on the type of attacks i can possibly formulate a workaround in the am as i have many servers to help set up sort of a round robin defense or catching the packets and killing the repeating IPs causing the floods...if they are spoofing tons of IPs it will be a bit more dficult but still not an issue...just depends on the type of attack...

On one hand I wish I knew more about this, on the second I am glad that the networks I manage have yet to been targeted with DDOS as if we did, I know i would have to learn fast lol.  But yeah prevention is certainly needed.  But yeah, ive read a few crypto, and non crypto articles saying the adult industry has spearheaded the adoption of some new technologies so i think it can potentionally be a very important coin.

What's happening on coinpool.de ? Blocks are found, but we're not credited a single SXC since a few hours.
Is the network too laggy because of all those DDOS attack ? Because the connection to the pool is fine and running without any issue.
It's just that I'm staying at 0 SXC confirmed and 0 SXC not confirmed with more than 3MH/s :/

Lavapit has been steady, and I got the issue with "who found the block" fixed.

It would be a good test if it could get some real hashpower on it.

Any brave souls willing to throw some hashing at it for about an hour and a half?

I would love to be able to mine but only have a laptop unfortunately at the moment and trying to save up so I can buy some mining hardware. By the way I cannot locate the faucet anymore. Have you taken it down or is it at a new address that I can't find? Please let us know if you are bringing it back or where I can find it. I really miss it so do my friends lol. Smiley

No, its still down. I got the files moved over to the new server and realized I needed yet another one to run it. So when I get some breathing room it will be back up. Anticipate it mid-week.

LOL...Sorry I haven't been giving away free coins? Wink

Hello, I started to mine sexcoins in the pool http://blackgold.pro:9699/static/ I set the payment to the cryptsy address ;

Rzj2681mG6BnHks3cAQ5EJ7BVnoTCHvfKd

And I havent received a single coin, I have sent them a ticket but I havent received answer yet, and I seeked in the sexcoin blockchain but is always down.

 Huh

Someone could help me?

Never use an exchange address as username on P2Pool!  You will not receive your coins.  Not only does Cryptsy warn you not to do this, BlackGold says on their homepage too: "Don't use an exchange address!".    P2Pool doesn't send the coins, it mines them.  And the exchange is unable to determine who mined them.  Just look at the transactions list in your own wallet.  Notice that the 'mined' coins have no address associated?  Well the exchange would see the same thing, incoming mined coins with no way to know who mined them.

Ok, anyway those coins have gone to the wallet of someone, I just need a Blockchain or explorer to see who, and then I will claim him.

If I recover them or not thats another bussiness, but first I need to see the blockchain and It seems to be permantly down.

Thx for your answers.
