Guys, why it takes so long for my Sexcoin Wallet to connect to the Sexcoin Network? I have it already open since 2 hours and it shows me only 1-3 connections to the Sexcoin Network! I noticed lately it takes a lot longer until it connects with the network... this was not an issue 1 week ago

Having the exact same problem. Today it worked for a while but eventually got stuck at 411838 with v0.6.4.1-RC1 on Windows. Got only 1 active connection. Anyone got a fresh list of addnodes that are working and reliable? Those I found so far on various forum posts haven't improved the situation very much - connections jumped up to 3 but it's still not syncing new blocks.

If you are having difficulties with connections, try this:

• Make sure you have the windows patched client if you are running on windows. http://lavapit.lavajumper.com/download
• shut down your client
• delete your 'peers.dat' file
• make sure you haven't turned off irc
• turn on UPNP if your network supports it
• start your client
• watch it for 1/2 hour

at a minimum, add this to sexcoin.conf

addnode=74.122.234.52:9560

I just noticed in the OP that you are linking to cgminer v 3.3.0 - is that the one you recommend to use or is it just an outdated link..?

There will be a new wallet in the new year, it will be mandatory update.  Dont know exactly when, but you will be given plenty of notice.

We need more infrastructure before starting a big promotion action.
People are building services at the moment, give them a bit time.

The network is bad at the moment, I encourage everybody, if you own an VPS or Dedicated server, please install "sexcoind" and let it run 24/7 to strengthen the network.

I disagree.  Promotion should be ongoing and consistent.  If you are not promoting then you are falling behind the guys that are pushing other legitimate crytos.  I believe SXC has a future if the Dev Team is consistently pushing it out there to Businesses and consumers.  

Tech fixes and nerd parties in the Alt Coin Forums will not get SXC adopted.  There needs to be constant marketing taking place in the Adult Industries(not just videos and such).

I'm hoping for the day when a simple SXC transfer can secure an "escort" for the evening.  I believe this is  possible if SXC is promoted from a grassroots level up.

both of you have good reasons... the network has to be more stable, and however the promotion is important .

we will see next months these 2 factors .... if they will improve, value of the coin improve too.
