Running on default settings first, immediately showing far higher 6ch/h #'s, hitting nothing but 6&7 value shares.
This is right off the bat, so I will report back after many hours. I'm curious to see what this build will do with my previous settings.
Thanks for the update!
Update : Using default sievesize with -d 10 is working best for my i7 860/3.22/Win7/64.

Hi, I just built another version with the following improvements: 1. Fixed the crash problem when the client disconnects from the pool 2. Included more code optimizations from SunnyKing's and Mikaekh's primecoin client. Thanks again. You may show your appreciations to them as well and to all who contributed (mtrlt, gara, etc.) 3. More tweaks to improve Share value rate. Hopefully this version will be faster. I can't tell exact numbers because I didn't made a long run tests yet. Again when comparing versions use the same settings though this one may perform better with different sievesize and sievepercentage, and also use long run tests where let's say you have an equal number of 7+ difficulty shares. I would like to have some feedback here. Download from here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1189851/jhPrimeminer-GMP-v4.zipSource will be updated tomorrow. Enjoy! Edit: please note that the default values for the parameter -s and -d was changed. Running the updated version with defaults options on my i7 3770k, will report back with more solid results, but so far, looks like a marked improvement. I have a request too, it doesn't need to be in normal repeated stats on every line, but a counter for 8 and 9 length chains in the block report thing would be very cool. Great update. My Val/h has nearly doubled since version 3. Thanks alot! Small tip sent your way!

Here's my results of an overnight run with the latest build, default settings, stock clock i7 3770k: https://i.imgur.com/I3LjhgO.jpgHere are my rough personal increases: SPH: +30% VPH: +30% 4CH/H: +30% 5CH/H: +50% 6CH/H: +100% 7CH/H: +150% Last 2 pages of personal stats on ypool (50 blocks) runs from 0.017 to 0.029 per block, this is the only active worker. In short, great job! I look forward to more updates and to getting home from vacation so I can overclock my i7 (been meaning to, just been lazy and on vacation)

Hi, New version. I hope I'm not driving crazy anybody. No major changes in this version regarding to speed just maybe a little optimization to find higher difficulty shares (means less lower). The Share Value calculation was fixed to be the same with the pool. Previous versions counted more value for each share so you can expect lower val/h . I know, this will make hard to compare to the previous version. Also the chain counters were changed. This means, for example when you find a 7diff share it won't be counter to the 6ch, 8 wont be counted to 6 and 7 and so on. So expect lower values also here. Thanks for all your work mumus! One thing I noticed -- If I run jhPrimeminer.exe overnight, my PPS seems to go down from when it initially ran (from 44k -> 29k), is this something others are experiencing? Could it just be due to something like CPU throttling for heat? When I restart, my PPS goes back up to the top. This was also with v4, just started with v5

On the fence with V5 so far, I like the new data displayed, but it's so different I can't yet tell is it is better or not. I too appreciate the miner mumus, keep up the awesome work.

I was trying this, but I'm getting really small shares...what's up with ypool? ypool is not accepting 5ch shares anymore to free up bandwidth. could be your problem right there.
