Hmm, a good question. eHealth gathered together a group of real experts and they have a believable business plan (even though it's a long way to go) and it appears they are successfull in raising money. I dont know much about it, but IOTA claims of itself to be quantum resistant, have to read about it more.

Everything goes over and over again - if there appears new secure technology, some clever guy will definitely hack it in a while. They will create stronger defendence - it will be hacked again. And this will continue forever. But as of now, blockchain seems to be pretty secure.
