Maybe we should create a CSC Bounty Thread where we put a set value for each item and then pay them by those who sign up to pay once work is provided?
Basically casinocoin or transcoder (or someone else?) creates the Bounty thread with a max value for each and members opt to donate a portion to the winner.

I will take your guys advice and do this! Can you help by naming some of the major things we need done in the community, and around the development of the coin.
The beta list will have to be out in the morning as Im getting pretty tired and am going to head home soon, but will check back in a hour or so!

Some things I can think of. (I'm sure others may have better ideas)

1. Coin design.
- We seem to have 2 coin designs right now? Which is the "one"?
- Or we maybe should just go for a better coin design?

2. Casinocoin Website.
- Why do we have 2? We do not want/need both casinoco.in & casinocoin.org. We ONLY need 1 official site.
- Worldcoin website looks amazing. Casinocoin site needs to look that professional to attract big players.

3. Profit calculator
- Coinwarz does have one for CSC. http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/casinocoin-mining-calculator
- Either we put a link to it from the main site or create one for the website.

4. Logo signs / ad banners
- "Casinocoin Accepted Here" sign for web sites to use themselves.
- Marketing banner (for signatures in forums and or to use on blogs / web sites etc). Just the name with a slogan etc will do.
- Many more I'm sure that I can't think of....

5. Wallet app
- Installer version for Windows (like Litecoin) to make it nicer for newcomers to use/install.

6. Marketing / Connections
- Any form of marketing (physical or online) which will benefit CSC.
- Anyone who can make existing well established online casinos (big or small) to support CSC
- Anyone who can make other exchanges add CSC.
- Anyone who can make other merchants support/accept CSC.
(with proof of course)

7. Forum
- We don't seem to have a CSC forum?
- Managing forums can be hard. So need a few volunteers I would think with some incentives.

If anyone has any better inputs or comments, please feel free to let us know!  Smiley

Hello,

1) What kind of info do the exchanges need to know to add us? I will like to contact some of them.
2) What is the offer or the approach we need to go if we contact some casinos to use and accept CSC?
3) I am developing a CSC game hopefully I can get it by next week.

This is some of my apport to the community  Smiley

Thanks

And i made a big buy yesterday at 4421 Cheesy Oh well, it will go up so i will be still happy haha

I am the one that sold you my stash! Smiley

I don't think it will go up anytime soon. If BTC keeps rocketing up towards $1500 more and more people will change their altcoins to BTC

When you are trading CSC/BTC:

if BTC goes up and CSC stays on the same level, the value of CSC will rise along with BTC. Strange behaviour of people when they sell CSC for BTC as it is on the rise. Grin

3) I am developing a CSC game hopefully I can get it by next week.

1. They care about the trading volume if any and probably would also like some starting CSC themselves as an incentive for them to add it (bribe? =p) etc.
2. I don't think we can contact any at this stage with such weak state of the coin's infrastructure. But I'm sure they wouldn't mine some free CSC either. =p
3. Sounds great! What game is it? Will it be just a simple single page site with lots of ad banners or will it look a bit more professional / presentable?

IMHO, to make CSC stand out from other coins, I think quality is far more important than quantity at this stage.
Couple of (commercial quality) online CSC & USD accepting games site / casino is more than enough to get people to want/need more CSC.
That's the only way CSC will do its name proud and be a "premium" gaming coin.

Heck, DOGE has like 6 game sites with couple of Roulettes, couple of Dice, Raffle etc. So CSC is worse as a gaming coin right now.
At the end, I think we need to make CSC more attractive, increase trading volume, then we can maybe try to get more sites to consider using it.

It would be awesome if any did support CSC deposits. That would rock.
But why would any top-tier online gambling site even touch CSC?
Wouldn't you rather support LTC or BTC first if you owned an online casino?
CSC is way to volatile in price with near non-existent trading volume and only supported by Cryptsy. Not good...

CSC needs to be just as or even more attractive than the other coins for them to even consider IMO.
To even go near that, we need a better web site and nicer marketing materials to start off I think.

Hey all, was setting up my new rigs, all should be ready soon yeeey Smiley

I think that the main thing as many people pointed out is to add csc to as many exchanges as possible. Some one said that maybe they will be interested in adding the coin if they get some starting CSC balance so they can trade it also ? Would something like that really work ? And about what amount are we talking - 20k ? 40k ?

About casinos, right now pretty much no casino would use CSC for the simple reason that you can NOT exchange CSC-USD. I pointed that out a few times and also explained the way i think it should work in my long post on page 47.
Even if BTC/LTC might be the better option right now, if we manage to get the system of auto transforming CSC - USD and the other way around and we get a few rooms to start using it, things will start going up and many rooms will prefer CSC for the name and its purpose ( ofc with our help Smiley )

I am thinking of trying to contact some of the smaller operators i have worked with in the past and try to see if some of them might be interested in adding up a game that can be played ONLY with CSC for the moment. So my idea is that the room add's a CSC wallet, people will be able to get CSC to the casino. They will be able to play ONLY this one CSC game with this balance. The other games will be still playable only with fiat money. After that any CSC winnings could be withdrawn ONLY via CSC wallet. Pretty much no CSC-USD transactions inluded.
I think that if i can get even 1 real room to start doing that, this will boos the coin a lot.
So tell me what you think and i might try to do that this month.

Another question i had, what graphic materials do we need ? I can get some right now but i have to tell the designer what we are looking for. Are we happy with the Logo ? The actual Chip logo ? CSC Accepted here, should it be something simple and clean like the BTC accepted here ? CSC banner that we can switch with other forums, web pages etc, what should the slogan on it be ( it wont be java, just simple banner for the start ). And where should this banner lead to after we put it on other pages ? If its something like CSC - the future of gambling ( for example ) - when people click it, where will it lead - i personally think that we need a very strong landing page with full explanation about CSC ( how it works etc ) and all places where you can trade/play with it.

Thats it from me so far. Hope to finally get my 12 rigs up and running this week and mine some CSC !

Cheers all.

I think this coin needs a relaunch, very good name, very good idea but hardly any development going on.
Needs a small handful of developers and marketers to push the coin. Look at what has been available since day 1 on other popular coins like doge, EAC and WDC and compare it to what we have currently for CSC.

I've voted for Casinocoin!  Grin

BTW, have you seen other coin casino's such as Lottocoin Casino?
http://lottocoincasino.com/

It seems to be done quite well with lots of games.
(although it doesn't have the high quality / premium look)

I think the Devs are doing a decent job and once CasinoCoin City goes live everything will be looking good. Just need to make it sleek and welcoming. The coin will very easily market itself and the added Marketing expertise of whoever volunteers their time and experience will boost it even further.

I'm not sure why everyone keeps talking about new logos or branding.  I think the branding is excellent and there are not two logos.  There is one logo and an image of a CasinoCoin, just like Bitcoin has its logo and many variations of coin images that have been created:

https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS508US508&espv=210&es_sm=93&tbm=isch&q=bitcoin%20logo&revid=13535948&ei=7ZbLUtW9HYXYoATj2oLIAg&ved=0CBcQsyU&biw=1920&bih=954

I don't think this is confusing, or an issue in any sense.  I also think if the logo is changed, it's not going to be easy to make something that is universally accepted as "better".  I think the quality of the branding now is good enough to not waste time trying to change it at this point.

Other graphics, like "CasinoCoin Accepted Here" or whatever are putting the cart before the horse.  Development stability needs to come first.  On the dev side, what's needed is for a dev TEAM to be extremely active on this forum to build confidence.  If Transcoder is still doing the dev alone, it's not enough.  Unless he's able to pull all nighters to be extremely active in the community, while continuously showing that he's developing and improving the coin, confidence is going to fizzle out and it will die again.  Other developers need to be RECRUITED, or at the very least, a community manager who is in close touch with the dev team needs to be brought in.  This person must be able to answer any question about the dev at any time.  First question: is there any development of the coin going on right now, or are we just riding on the name of the coin?  The second resource that needs to come in, whether it's Transcoder's time, or him adding someone to help is: what are the future plans for the coin (not the eco-system around it).  Will there be active development?  Or at least support to ensure issues are solved promptly?  to ensure there are enough nodes to allow for everything to sync up?  Will new features be added?  Which ones? Custom?  Zerocoin?  What??

On the marketing side, no existing, successful online casino is going to just start accepting CasinoCoin without incentive - and any single person here that can come up with that incentive won't make enough profit to cover the costs, even if the casino's acceptance of the coin does drive up the price.  What needs to happen is that we, as a community, need to build up an eco-system around Casinocoin.  Dogecoin has a handful of betting type sites developed around it - and its purpose is not even for gambling.  Sexcoin has sex toy shops that accept sexcoin.  The community just need to build up CasinoCoin only casinos.

So really, in the end, the issue isn't - let's change the branding or get some new graphics, it's - let's build the community and continue to build the eco-system.  Once that happens, it will be much easier to attract outsiders to join in.  I mean, if it's already as strong as it is just based on the name of the coin alone, imagine how strong it could get if all the people passionate about the name and concept organize a little better.

First things first, there needs to be a foundation/ steering committee that is democratic in nature - and it needs to be extremely well organized and professional.  Its purpose needs to be clearly defined.  Transcoder did start this thing, but he needs to give up some control to allow it to flourish, unless he's willing to give it 200% 24/7 and really show us that he's here for this coin.  If not, the community needs to find devs to take it over.  A relaunch would be pointless.  Make better code, release it, everyone updates, move on.

In the end, there needs to be one website, one forum, one official set of documentation and link for the most up to date release, and one vision - and a whole bunch of communication.  The name and concept are great, but we can't live on those alone.  We need to do this one like every other successful coin.

Sorry to ramble, didn't proofread this.

I think it may be worth to try to get a major online casino to actually sponsor the coin. Maybe along the lines of "CasinoCoins brought to you by __________". The amount may be little for them but a lot to get things rolling. If one joins, I am willing to bet another will and then people can transfer coins from one site to another with little to no risk for the casinos. Instead of having to cash out move to your bank account and then redeposit in the new site you just go to a different site and you just transfer. It could be good for them to try to bring in gamblers from other sites but also could allow current gamblers to leave with ease, kinda like a double-edged sword.

That already established online casino can have maybe a separate section for the coin and provide the funds to get the CSC to USD conversion setup.

Maybe it was mentioned before but just a thought at 2:30 in the morning...I hope I didnt ramble on too much lol
