I'm not sure why everyone keeps talking about new logos or branding. I think the branding is excellent and there are not two logos. There is one logo and an image of a CasinoCoin, just like Bitcoin has its logo and many variations of coin images that have been created:
https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS508US508&espv=210&es_sm=93&tbm=isch&q=bitcoin%20logo&revid=13535948&ei=7ZbLUtW9HYXYoATj2oLIAg&ved=0CBcQsyU&biw=1920&bih=954I don't think this is confusing, or an issue in any sense. I also think if the logo is changed, it's not going to be easy to make something that is universally accepted as "better". I think the quality of the branding now is good enough to not waste time trying to change it at this point.
Other graphics, like "CasinoCoin Accepted Here" or whatever are putting the cart before the horse. Development stability needs to come first. On the dev side, what's needed is for a dev TEAM to be extremely active on this forum to build confidence. If Transcoder is still doing the dev alone, it's not enough. Unless he's able to pull all nighters to be extremely active in the community, while continuously showing that he's developing and improving the coin, confidence is going to fizzle out and it will die again. Other developers need to be RECRUITED, or at the very least, a community manager who is in close touch with the dev team needs to be brought in. This person must be able to answer any question about the dev at any time. First question: is there any development of the coin going on right now, or are we just riding on the name of the coin? The second resource that needs to come in, whether it's Transcoder's time, or him adding someone to help is: what are the future plans for the coin (not the eco-system around it). Will there be active development? Or at least support to ensure issues are solved promptly? to ensure there are enough nodes to allow for everything to sync up? Will new features be added? Which ones? Custom? Zerocoin? What??
On the marketing side, no existing, successful online casino is going to just start accepting CasinoCoin without incentive - and any single person here that can come up with that incentive won't make enough profit to cover the costs, even if the casino's acceptance of the coin does drive up the price. What needs to happen is that we, as a community, need to build up an eco-system around Casinocoin. Dogecoin has a handful of betting type sites developed around it - and its purpose is not even for gambling. Sexcoin has sex toy shops that accept sexcoin. The community just need to build up CasinoCoin only casinos.
So really, in the end, the issue isn't - let's change the branding or get some new graphics, it's - let's build the community and continue to build the eco-system. Once that happens, it will be much easier to attract outsiders to join in. I mean, if it's already as strong as it is just based on the name of the coin alone, imagine how strong it could get if all the people passionate about the name and concept organize a little better.
First things first, there needs to be a foundation/ steering committee that is democratic in nature - and it needs to be extremely well organized and professional. Its purpose needs to be clearly defined. Transcoder did start this thing, but he needs to give up some control to allow it to flourish, unless he's willing to give it 200% 24/7 and really show us that he's here for this coin. If not, the community needs to find devs to take it over. A relaunch would be pointless. Make better code, release it, everyone updates, move on.
In the end, there needs to be one website, one forum, one official set of documentation and link for the most up to date release, and one vision - and a whole bunch of communication. The name and concept are great, but we can't live on those alone. We need to do this one like every other successful coin.
Sorry to ramble, didn't proofread this.
