They're listed at the Middlecoin homepage now.

Thanks. Will tip doge for that if you shoot me a PM with your address

Consider it a freebie Wink

Don't mine with CPU and don't mine with a laptop !!!

With a CPU you can mine XPM and other CPU-only coins or even  some new Scrypt  coins with very low diff.
With an i7 (some mobile i7 have TDP as low as 13W) it is still profitable provided that you've got already the laptop and you have to pay only for the electricity bill.

I make a couple of primecoins (1XPM = 0.00344BTC) a  week with just an i5. (not much but I don't care it's just for testing purpose)

I guess with a mobile i7 I could make easily  0.01BTC a week that's ~500 $ a year...

True; but you are stressing out your laptop in a way it hasn't been designed for; unlike video cards those fans (and other cooling components) are a lot smaller and thus will be prone to break faster.
breaking faster it's certainly true but up to a point. (and will 'faster' be faster than obsolescence?)
Consider my old laptop with a P8400 (25W TDP): it has been used more than a year folding@home and it's still alive. Less power usage (13W) for mobile i5 and i7 means also less heat and less stress.
Of course if your life depends on your only laptop it's probably not a good idea to mine with it for a few hundred bucks/y.

So, this thread is totally off topic now, I wanted to know if the new server with redirecting means that all the servers are the same again? No more significantly better results on useast?

Came home from work and saw that the pool was not responding and my 3 hour running chart was looking like a zebra.
I finally broke down and set up failovers.
useast --> uswest --> eu --> amsterdam --> asia

Hopefully tomorrow will be more consistent.

I'm hoping the gaps aren't middlecoin switching coins.

something is going on.  every server is taking a major shit on me tonight.  installed a new card so not sure if that has something to do with it but getting like 10% rejects and switching between servers every couple of minutes.  not cool

Settings for less rejections-

I got mine hashing without any errors no matter how much I lower settings HIgher settings for some reason the ratio between Acceppted and rejected is ALWAYS higher with the 290 than the 280x .... How do I lower rejection rate... or is this just a server issue here is an example

R9 280x TOXIC OC = ACC 297984- REJ = 10240  HASH = 750KH
R9 280x TOXIC OC = ACC 342016- REJ = 7168  HASH = 750KH
R9 280x TOXIC OC = ACC 322560- REJ = 5120  HASH = 750KH
R9 290 TOXIC OC = ACC 386048- REJ = 41984  HASH = 880-920KH

NO HARDWARE ERRORS

All the 280 are the same settings obviously the 290 isn't , What do you think is the prob or is there even a problem here

Rejection rate is like 4.5% and this is because of that 290. If you take this out of the picture the rate would be 1.2-1.5%

Ping all of the servers and make sure you're connected to the closest one.

Done  = No Difference in fact some of the quicker ones showed higher regwcted shares

Hello,

I am expecting a LOT of rejections.

Wallet: 18YXY35z1HgMoKqBFgiShGuqnhR7zdwwC6
Accepted: 163.7643
Rejected: 13.5895

Normaly it was about 2-3%. I am using R9 290 cards.

What server are you on?

I am on useast for 1 or 2 days. Ping latency is about 85ms.

I have switched before this to the Amsterdam and Eu server, but the payout where very bad. So I switched back to the useast. And now I have this crazy rejection Sad

I am with you don't worry Rejected is just through the roof no matter what setting I sue, and lets not forget they were the same setting as they were before but now they just skyrocketd

 A:609280 R:17408<<<< R9 280x I13 AVG 750KH
 A:589824 R:19456<<<< R9 280x  I13 AVG 750KH
 A:671744 R:65536 <<<< R9 290  I19 Tried I -17 - 20,  AVG 900KH - KH If I don't use I 19 -20  My Hash rate hovers around 830-880KH - Rejects still same

Nothing helps - Rejection is RIDICULOUS now its 5% even seen it as stupid as 10% in rare occasions.

Tried Useast, Asia, Middlecoin.com, amsterdam, EU  - Im in Australia  Syd

It always used to be 1-2% Max until 1.5 weeks

Something DEF is wrong here.I think ther are too many people joining ... Like honestly when is the list going to STOP  why do we keep allowing more and more people in. do we really want the overal has rate to Double?

Yeah, I'm gone until this gets up and running again. Last hour I'm showing half my hash rate on the stats feed, compared to what I push normally. If you can't handle the volume H20, stop accepting new accounts, kill off some smaller ones, whatever.

It's not a real drop. Number of users is likely about the same. And a lot of people are reporting lower than usually hashrates.

Anyway. Payout tonight was meh from useast.

About .009/MH for me.

It's probably mining Vertcoin which uses a different scrypt memory function and thus lower hashrate. Don't worry guys.

Possibly due to the ice storms.  My fireplace was my only source of heat for about 24 hours yesterday.

Interesting,  I was wondering about that.   Sounds like a plausible explanation.

Not quite yet; each server is off by a little but they are much closer in terms of profit to each other than they used to be.

Profitability is around 0.011 ~ 0.012 MH/s according to them.

Not really that much better than middlecoin; in fact I would say it is worse; H20 has gotten this thing at ~0.013 MH/s (after the problems earlier this week were fixed of course).

To be frank you want the highest hash rates as possible from the most people; I agree if possible load between systems need to be split up but the more people mining means better profitability overall (you can set up different groups of miners to mine different coins).

Of course, the payouts should be evened out but the possibilities are really good to get profitability above ~ 0.015 MH/s if that happened.
