For now I hold all altcoin, I'm sure 3 months after 2018 the price of all coins will skyrocket, the main factor is the rise in price of bitcoin and ethereum.

Dogecoin has already touched 0.0075$/Doge and is about to hit 1cent per Doge.
I got to know about this today only, Though I am happy for the community but I'm regretting a lot, Sold 10 Million Dogecoins at the start of this year. Sad

I should have hodl the coin, Any reliable coin you have, you should hodl it. Litecoin had the same fate, I am really optimistic about Clam coins now, They gonna rise a lot in coming 3-4 weeks Smiley
How worse can it get or how Good can it be? Dogecoin just touched 1cent per Doge mark, Should I be happy for being a part of the community or should I cry for losing ~80,000$  Embarrassed
I am positive now though, living and learning from mistakes
Made a huge Bank by holding Bitcoins Smiley

Its impossible to accurately predict the movement of the exchange rate. HODL in approximation - good strategy.

I make some bad decisions on trading, and I used it as a path to learn more and how to avoid such misfortune. but we cant know what will happen in the future so just trade the amount you will afford to loose and dont be regret on what you do in trading, we cant undo the past though

When u buy a coin, do your research and set your goals for the coin and stick to them. I don't hold any coin less than 60 days and I don't buy a new coin which I haven't researched/waited for a few weeks. No impulse buys.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

Atleast you got ptofit from it, thats what trading all about, it dependent on the wise prediction you have. I actually HODL coins, which I saw great potential regardless of sudden changes in value. Most of the coins is really for anlong term investment, you'll just see its profit atleast a year.

Well, just as what you said you learned from it. The best decision to always do on investment is really to Hodl and hope for its best future. I actually have coin now, wgich already doubled its price and still choose to hold it no matter water. Simply because I believe that it has promising future.

This is how you can learn, start with exactly this starting capital, which is not a pity to lose. Here I completely agree with you. But nevertheless, the practice of trade should really be present in grief, because otherwise you will not learn.

HELLO EVERYONE.

Hold until you reach the 100% of your profit at all,  you can have it all,  just patience,  and if youreallydo notneed money then just hold for a while so you can get it all. Have a great timing for that so it will not hard to accept some failure then.

I think HODL or REGRET is just the same because when you have the time of holding it and it goes down you will regret it and Sometimes you also regret HODLing it when you join a campaign that successfully finished with a great profit and you only invest a small amount you also regret HODL.

I'm glad that I read those post in this thread and I learned a lot. Then I shall HODL my coins or tokens that I have so I will not regret in the future the lesson here is be patience and always think twice before making a decision so in the end we cannot blame our selves.

I sold my 6k ripple coins last night! Embarrassed

You did the right thing. There are other altcoins that have a lot more potential than XRP. Profit is profit never looked back.

I experienced to regret many times when i sell my tokens before they pump. Now I learned from my mistake and make a decision to hold my other tokens for now. Waiting for the right time.

There's a two way you can do if you see the coin that you hold have a good potential to pump up so high then continue to but if you think that you reach your price goal then go withdraw now and buy good altcoin again.
Holding is the best way we can do to earn a good profit don't regret this opportunity buy and hold for long term and see the result soon its better to set a price goal and dont put all your money in one altcoin.

Go and learn technical analysis and fundamental analysis so you can formulate your own ideas about whether to hodl or sodl. TA and FA are worth learning as you will be able to apply them on most financial products.

I'm not yet investing in bitcoin or altcoin Newbie here. But I'm a stock market trader. I feel you when you sell your investment and after a day or week it went up to breakout. The strategy We make in stock market is We make a trading plan and make sure to stick with it. In that case regret will be minimize. Still though I feel your regret...

In order to become successful we must take our own risk but we cannot risk anytime. I think your tactics is good enough, if you think that you will loose your money or capital then withdraw it. Holding investment is good specially if you have money to support the necessities of your family but as long as you needed it to survive, you cannot say that you will hold it all the time. We should be practical!

That's a wrong move. I saw Ripple as one of the two top coins that had gains despite of all the dump of the other coins.

No it's not a wrong move. That's the best decision on his/her life. Cheesy
