Send your boards as soon as you can and we will get them sorted out. Can you please put a post it note or something on all the 'no green light' boards so it is easy to identify them on the other end.

Europe and other parts of the world, i'm still working on a plan for you guys. We have someone in Norway willing to help out, so once i get a bit more info from everyone, we can get that moving also. All Australian orders, please send back to me.

Since it does seem there is still some uncertainty to how effective the solution will be and whether or not all problems will be resolved with this solution, what sort of mitigation/fall back plans are being devised or in the works.  Also, when we send boards back do we also need to send back mini-planes and double scrolls or will they work as well once these components have been fixed?

Thanks for the hardwork and effort so far!  FWIW, when these were hashing they were doing really well and it's looking like they will be a very nice addition to my personal mining.

I'm still waiting to received my boards. I was eager to received them as soon as possible, then I discovered a lot of boards failed.... A failure due to youth. They will arrive this week I think. Can you (as asked by PM) send me my Tracking Number in PM?

Well, you shipped all the boards without fully test and try this new circuitry on the boards... Prototypes haven't this feature enabled. Hopefully you have found and nearly fixed the "youth" issue.

As I'm hardware eng. I will order and solder myself, the replacement component. I'm just waiting for part number.

(Also, i can swap the parts for my board just confirm that the U20 is TPS62142, and i you followed the datasheet that inductor would be about 2.2uH-3.3uH )

For me, in Australia, the fastest and cheapest way to get up and running would be if Barn can express post the replacement inductors out for those who can replace them.

Thanks to Barn for keeping everyone fully informed and acting swiftly on this issue. These are the risks we take being on the cutting edge - anyone who complains about it can wait for a tried and tested product and mine a pittance with it when they finally get it as far as I'm concerned!

I didn't plan on using the original box. Will that be a problem. I labeled both boards and with my email and into a smaller box like barntech did the thumbs.

Your last post says pack everything, does that mean we are shipping the mini planes as well. I have a scotch box 9.5 inch x 6 inch X 3.5 inches with the 2 boards ready to wrap the box with the bubble wrap and send off when I get my shipping label.  The old box is Christmas prep now .

The repairs are being done by one of the members of our group buy. His forum name is tk1337. I have spoken with him for an extensive time and i trust him. He has a lot of experience with this sort of thing as well as all the equipment required to do the job. By all means, if you feel up for doing the fix yourself please do, otherwise, send your boards to the address on the labels and it will happen nice and quick.

In terms of security, you all have this persons name and address on the mailing label too so we can go lynch mob him if things go wrong, though they won't. :-) I believe this is the best and fastest way for all our U.S. members to get their boards sorted out. Feel free to write to me if you have further concerns.
