We already have some samples. Our Avalon next gen design is currently in prototyping.  I won't touch Avalon with a 10 foot pole, and I would imagine a lot of other people feel the same way. I'd give them a try. I'd even buy some chips off you :-) Maybe thats because i wasn't badly burnt by their last little stunt....... Avalon's credibility is stuck in customs. I was all ready to buy Klondike boards. |

Yeah, we're not rushing out to get super involved with Avalon after all that has passed with them, but if they want to give us a free reel of chips for designing them an awesome board, then i am not going to stop them.  |

thanks barntech for the update, looks like things are moving along nicely wish i had the extra BTC for 2 more boards but I am super broke this month, ( damn you Valencia MotoGP !! ). looking forwards to getting them hashing . Do the boards have a power switch on them ( apologies if this has been asked before ) or do i need to do some modding to my PSU to be able to power on/off and if your getting free chips whats the harm in seeing how well they work, good luck on that. Also you alluded to a next gen product ? care to elaborate a little more or is it too early to say. thanks to the team, monkeynutts |

Thanks. I'm in Sydney, the Drillbit website says "Direct Bank Deposit - Australian customers are welcome to pay via direct bank transfer", but it's not clear if this is still the policy.

The sooner we can hash the better since i expect diff going up to around 525 M
It is a game of balance right now. If the difficulty level goes up 30% every 10 days, then a quicker delivery at the cost of hashing is warranted. But Barntech said things are hashing well. So, right now, it is just a matter of the assemblers and such. Hopefully we see some shipments at the end of the week. Pretty exciting but also a bit sad with the rate screaming up. Miners bought now (from anyone), really only have a few months of "real life" to them. I got my Power Supply today and fan! Man they got smaller. Like half as big as I remember 10 years ago. IAS |

BTC is usually #1 from when I checked. So, even mining a fraction of a BTC and then buying some PPC is usually better than mining PPC. But, if you find a coin you believe in, then mine it for sure. It's because none of them have a strong community following, they are all mine and dump coins that are not used in commerce, so they fetch way less than they should be given the cost of the specialized gear to mine them. I can make more daily profit with a $300 GPU than I can with $300 ASIC, and that's because the ASIC miners just dump coins at market price and drive the prices down. The ASIC miners should select one coin to elevate as an alt and support it's price. Probably TRC as PPC is a dud for confirmations. |
