Best competitors to Ethereum?

in my opinion ethereum best competitor is EOS. EOS is now widely used as an ICO platform. besides that EOS has good development and has a good future.

Although not as frequent as Ethereum, EOS did have a huge  impact because it's funded through using Ethereum and there's some point of time where the EOS team is trying hard to dump their ETH as much as they can while at the same time pumping their own coin, gratefully Ethereum still hold its position up to today.

Which are the best competitors to Ethereum, and why do you think so?

(I know on top of my head that Cardano and IOTA try to challenge Ethereum,
although they still haven't proved much from my understanding?)

I see Ethereum's best competitor is EOS, the initials of the coin are almost the same, lol... I currently find that many ICO projects use EOS, and this has been discussed in several telegram groups, the price of EOS I feel is very stable and good, and the second competitor is CARDANO, this crypto coin is being widely used by ICO project developers.

I think that Ethereum is NEO and EOS worthy competitors. Because these coins have taken a good and fast course to raise. Adequate competition is always good. This creates stable and strong coins in the market.

The competition in altcoin is getting tighter and tighter. Each altcoin is getting more aggressive in developing and marketing their products. That makes ethereum must help maintain its position by not being careless in providing the development of its technology. Speaking of the truth the most intense coin right now is XRP that almost overtake the market capitalisation of ETH, people are always talking about XRP because the project itself showing something that most of the people favoured.
