Best competitors to Ethereum?

If we can talk about Ethereum competitors, there is only one real competitior. EOS, I know, it is not a coin which is popular among many people, but it is a coin that is technically much more advanced, EOS transactions are free and much faster and this is very important for further adoption.

Ethereum is a tough cookie to break. I don’t think anyone but NEO and ICON can come even close to the point where Ethereum has managed to reach. However, it is still too soon to say anything since the competition is still tough and it will take time to see who comes to the top and who goes down.

In my opinion near future best competitors for ethereum can be Stellar and also can be EOS. Now many projects are using these platforms to move their coins.

After participating in a project with ETI, i found it very interesting one, making it a competition for ETH platform, i know that its the beginning of that project, but in the future it could be more useful and could be used by some developers. XLM also become one of the best competitor.

the best competitor Ethereum is Ripple. This is evident with the development of Ripple that is able to push it to take over the position of the Ethereum which made the price so expensive and produce more reliable progress.

i agree, ripple is the best competitor for ethereum,even XRP was able to shift the position of EThereum as ranked 2 in CMC

Bitcoin Cash that continued to show an increasing development began to show more progress that is capable of fishing the high price in the future. It is capable of producing much more positive values and prices are more expensive and more. would be greatly supported by present his progress.

I think NEO, WAV, TRX, EOS are good competitors to ETH. ETH is only outstanding because most people aren't aware that those I have listed as competitors can do exactly what ETH does!

I think the best competitors of ethereum should come from different types of blockchain and not of those that are ERC-20 compliant. But in the price sense, more ERC-20 tokens are actually valued so much like ethereum and still have an impact in the market.

There are lots of coins in cryptocurrency that are a threat to ethereum. Coins like ripple, neo, litecoin and bitcoin Cash are the greatest competitors to ethereum.

I am seeing a lot of Stellar Lummens based tokens, maybe this is good for the environment, and i think that Ethereum is starting to be a little bit less important on the market.

NEO used to be a good competitor, but it is a dead coin now, and i do not think that it will recover from it's crash.

EOS is a very bad project, I think it has no chance to compete with ETH, as it is more centralized.

i can only think 2 alts that can compete with Ethereum head on its EOS and NEO both of them are good NEO has been around couple of years ago 2016 if im not correct but only recently got revive last year june/July 2017 , EOS has a 1 year ico and has a tons of ETH from it that they can dump anytime

Many participants of the forum consider Cardano to be a rival of Ethereum which will get ahead of all these blockchains. Honestly, I don't believe in it and guess the real rival of ETH is EOS

Comparing to ETH, We can say that almost all alts can compare to it, since there are platforms like waves and neo that also do what ETH can, it will just need more time and development before they can beat ETH.

I honestly wish there was a decent one. EOS is way too sketchy for my liking and is DPOS and Cardano has a solid direction but I feel their leadership is very sketchy too. NEO is just seems a bit too heavily manipulated by the Chinese Government.

the biggest competitor for Ethereum in my opinion is Ripple and it has been proven since the first time Ripple took Ethereum position, even though Ethereum can take his position again (twice), but for now Ethereum can't take his position back and even Ethereum is getting worse since Ripple beat Ethereum, because the price of Ethereum continues to fall.
