"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
I dont think so. They are not able to do that. because there too  many different places for us to do that.

of course, and the government has a big role in the rise and fall of the market price of crypto, and the government can also kill crypto, just imagine if most developed countries banned crypto and banned everything related to crypto world, of course crypto enthusiasts will disappeared

I hear a lot of people say can government kill a big market like crypto market, my common answer is that government can only kill crypto if they can shutdown the internet. If its not possible to shutdown the internet then you cannot kill crypto.

No way. If you do not live in North Korea, you will always have access to the Internet, and accordingly to cryptocurrencies.

This is just not true, you son have no clue.

This thread is literally like trying to talk philosophy with 5 year olds.

Governments can try their best but they can never stop or put an end to Crypto. They can make it difficult to be widely accepted but then this will not stop the Crypto fans. However the only reason why they would try to regulate is because they need a cut in the profit share. Other than that, they have no business because I am sure nothing of this actually makes any sense to them.

In my opinion no body and no one party include government can to kill crypto, because all crypto and the blockchain technology behind it is decentralized. All bad news that exist now is just FUD to manipulated the price of crypto.

Of course, they can not kill it as it is a decentralized network, but they can just minimize the money flow by banning the exchanges or any other way of exchanging tokens, not only bitcoin, 'killing' it. If you think any currency is just a unit, supported by something. In USA dollar is weakly supported by the reserve, in Russia, the currency is obligated to be supported by its full value in gold. Instead, Bitcoin is not supported by almost anything, except the investors and the investments. So if it will get banned on a world scale, chances are it is going to fall.

The authorities fear for the economy. But why is it not realizing that with the introduction of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in the legal field, the business will have the opportunity to simplify, for example, the remuneration scheme for remote professions. And then where is the control, if not in the blockchain? After all, it is absolutely open technology. Anyone can see which purse is how much money. When you come to the exchange office, which asks you for an e-mail and a phone number to drop you an SMS saying that the exchange of bitcoins for dollars has been successful, what kind of anonymity it might be talking about.

The government will not be able to kill cryptocurrencies completely never, but it can create such a situation that the work with cryptocurrencies will simply cease to be liquid.

Cryptocurrency is dissent. Politicians used that almost every time we breath they can get taxes. And then there are the money is going past their pocket. Of course they will be against this state of affairs and will interfere in every possible way

No state can kill or stop Bitcoin and Blockchain, and development will continue. governments and states or any organization can not control the crypto money market. In addition, the world is now adapting to the block chain, and even giant corporations are developing their own block chain networks to offer better access and marketing improvements to customers.

True, crytocurrency can not be eliminated or controlled by the government because of its many kinds and this is evidence of technological progress.

Regulating cryptocurrency I believe is quite different from killing it. They can come up with regulations in order to curtail some things, but those regulations cannot kill cryptocurrency. Moreover those regulations some times can be favourable. Although so e countries have announced the ban of cryptocurrency, but i am sure that some citizens of those countries are still into crypto.

Doubt very much they can kill it, because most government leaders use crypto currencies and they profit from them. The biggest investors in the world are mostly from Asia so why would they want to kill it.

can not, bitcoin uses blockchain technology that allows transactions in private and doesn't involve the bank.

I don't think they can kill cryptos, they can only regulate cryptos but not kill it. blockchain has come to stay and many people are adopting blockchain technology, and since blockchain is going main stream governments cannot kill it because they don't control it. how can you kill what you can't or don't control?

Nothing is impossible, but you have to know the government must cooperate to kill Bitcoin if they want.
Shutdown all mining farms of Bitcoin is the key to kill Bitcoin.
Because no transaction of Bitcoin will get confirm if the mining farm can not run to work and confirm those transaction hash on the network.
I do not say use this method can kill cryptocurrency, because some cryptocurrency use PoS to run instead of PoW as Bitcoin now. Wink

Yes they can kill the bitcoin, but it is risky.because if the world government banned the bitcoin by all countries i don't think if it's only in a peace talk. I am sure that many of us would got rebellion if it happen. Bitcoin have many done things in us so i don't think bitcoun will okay if it kill or disappear because of the world government
