no. Maybe some control is needed, otherwise it will be wild wild west. But the whole point with crypto is to be decentralized. And governments don't like the decentralization. I refuse to accept that people or governments can't change the whole system to enable crypto to be user friendly.

The world government can no longer kill the crypto currency. Too many people already know it, appreciated its undeniable advantages and opportunities and have already been successfully engaged in it. Crypto currency could be destroyed when it was only just beginning to appear, it is now impossible. True, it is still possible for governments to significantly limit the extent of its passage. However, people will start filing lawsuits with the courts about their right to deal with crypto-currency, and it's not yet clear what will happen.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks

I don't think the government can kill encryption, and then you can manipulate it, because the chain of encryption currency or block is the future of the world, many countries are trying to in an appropriate way to manage and control the encryption currency.

Goverment can kill crypto in theirs country, but crypto will survive and grow in difference countries. Banning crypto may risk because crypto is the future and everyone want it, so control it with law is the best way for goverment.

the government will actually kill the crypto if there is an economic agreement on the scale of the world meeting, it is seen from the g-20 meeting yesterday, but eventually many agree not to make it a problem and even start recognizing it as a legitimate tender, many are beginning to draft regulations and will most likely be perfect for the end of the year.

Today many understand to be incompetent to ban bitcoin because its potential is greater than the ratio of losses incurred, many governments are beginning to shift to surveillance and forget their skepticism in the previous year.

They can not do this in any way, that's why they are furious. Crypto currency is a decentralized system, so it is possible to kill it only in the event that the last computer is destroyed, which even the world government can not do

I don't think cryptocurrency can be banned or entirely kill by the governments around the world. The blockchain is an independent phenomenon which will exist no matter what happens.

I think that's just rumors because they do not have the ability to kill Crypto. This is a very large market and the market capitalization has increased to $ 400 billion. Governments that want to kill Crypto must go through a lot of people and agree. Because if they want to kill Crypto, they must inform investors before doing so. This is a difficult and fruitless process.

I don't think so. Government only can prohibited bitcoin but its cannot end cryptos' because we all know that crypto's are decentralized currencies and no one can manipulate and  killed on it.

In my opinion, in the future the government will pass laws to control the crypto currency. This will be very bad. They will make severe control.

And why should the world government destroy crypto?
At the moment, crypto-currencies do not pose a big threat to hegemony for the dollar. As I understand it, now the direction is taken to reduce people's trust in crypto-currencies. Crypto-currencies will then grow to fall, which will upset many people.

No, crypto could kill governments and banks in the near future.
Why we need centralization, when we know that decentralization is much better? Open world for everyone!

Goverments can try to kill crypto, but I believe that it would be the last battle for goverments. Genie is out of the bottle. Let's see, what will happen.  Wink

They cannot kill cryptocurrency, if Government of one's country wants his citizens to refrain from crypto related activities they can only restrict them by passing some laws against crypto & shutting down exchanges in their own country. But people can still find a way to do crypto transaction like by traveling to other countries. Crypto can be killed by Governments only if all countries of the world get united with each other and take action against cryptos. But it won't happen all governments can never be united with each other as they always have some political barriers & legal issues between them.

They can really affect bitcoin and to slow its progression, but it is unlikely that absolutely all countries decide to abandon the use of bitcoin. That's stupid.

Does someone really believe in world government existence? I can not imagine such people here. The thing is that for all governments from different states it is almost impossible to make a common decision.

Why not? If we don't see something, it does not mean that it does not exist. Nobody say that world government is sitting in public headquarters. But once again why not?

Most of the crypto currencies are decentralized.
I think they can make a rules about the crypto and regulate it, but can't kill it.
