"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
No way, crypto is decentralized, in the future we will see what it really means.

I think that most developed countries are now democratic, so now this is not possible. People just will not let it happen. Even in dictatorships, it is not possible to completely ban anything.

No way. If any country tries they will fall. Even if fiat transactions are banned in any particular country there will be a lot of different coins that starting to appear today ( LibreCash, Heaven, TrueUSD etc) and ppl will use them as a fiat and thats it. So they will be in a stealth mode and may not to care about goverment regulation

I'm not sure governments around the world can kill crypto. Because in fact although many do not like the crypto and many news that makes crypto fall. Crypto until now still survive with high prices. So it's not that easy if the Government around the World wants to kill crypto.

If they ban them and introduce heavy regulations, i think that'll be the same as killing them effectively. Of course I hope that doesn't happen but yeah

If there are more fake ICOs that steal millions of dollars from people, governments will have every reason to prohibit it. They must be stopped!

No way, it's impossible. Crypto exist without government and government has no power to kill it. In fact the government need crypto to elevate their economy.

It has a sense. The only question if there is really transperent coin and if it is really convenient to use. So the blockchain on top of which coin exist has a main role
Tether is the leader now but tokens are being emmited now like millions in a day without any reason and no way to check if it is really backed

There’s no such thing as world government. Not even the United Nations can be considered as such. Each country has its own interest. The only thing that can kill cryptocurrency is an E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event).

I am sure that we are at the initial stage of development of blockchain technology, in the near future they will be introduced into the all life spheres, and the crypto-currencies as a part of these technologies will not disappear anywhere and will find practical application! No one can stop progress or kill a revolutionary idea!

The new coins that are appering now can do that. As for example of we take a look at LibreCash, there we have an autonomus smart contract where u will be able to check the reserve fund and all the transaction of token issuance any time u want. No hidden facts. All is transperent. If such coins continue to appear there will be no fair about crypto regulation as fiat currencies for profit fixin wont be needed anymore

Autonomus smart contracts it is like bancor works? U send tokens to smart contract and get smth in exhange? If so the concept of such so called stable coins may work. Probably i will investigate it deeper later

I think its hard for government to kill or ban cryptocurrency. If government want to kill cryptocurrency or bitcoin they should shut down internet all around the world because bitcoin or cryptocurrency depending on internet.
Bitcoin or crypto not depend on one country or a few country regulation, its depend on community, if community wont accept bitcoin anymore for any reason, maybe bitcoin or crypto will die itself.

I don't think cryptocurrency can be banned or entirely kill by the governments around the world. The blockchain is an independent phenomenon which will exist no matter what happens. They can limit use, but not more.
