Bitcoin is of interest to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and legal regulators, all of which are trying to understand how the cryptocurrency fits into existing frameworks. The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are, where you live, and what you are doing with it.
Yes, everything is legal and not punishable. Even where they imposed a ban or control, people still calmly do their business and withdraw through exchanges of other countries. And how in principle it can be punished if no law on crypto-currencies is prescribed anywhere.

In other places around the world, they viewed the legality of bitcoin differently, but for the most part it remains relatively safe to use as long as it is not tied to elicit purchases or activities. The question surrounding between the bitcoin and the law depends on how the digital currency is being used.

Bitcoin as digital currency isnt illegal but it can be use to such illegal acitivities like gambling, money laundering, and extortions if you do that bitcoin's will be subjected to a tool for your crime which is illegal this is one of the downside of it use.But it is really depends on the people on how will they use this currency.

Bitcoin can be legal or not depends on where it is used. Like in America bitcoin has been legalized in many states but in Asian countries like China or Korea, bitcoin is still being banned. I have been lucky when I am living in the country that the government still not ban bitcoin yet.

That is correct. Right now, there is no single law or policy that covers every single Bitcoin user in the world. There are various domestic policies and regulatory measures about Bitcoin but these are only applicable within the localities in which they are legally allowed. For now, if you are not allowed to transact with Bitcoins because your country bans it, you can easily travel to another country and be able to access and make use of your Bitcoins.

Almost in all countries, bitcoin is not regulated at the legislative level. Many governments realized that they can not fight it and decided to introduce regulation. Therefore, soon we will see legislative acts and the regulation of the crypto-currency market.

Bitcoins is only legal on some other countries because there are people who are using cryptocurrency for illegal transactions and governments are afraid of this problems. Bitcoins is the same as fiat and if it will not be used for good then it can destroy the economy of the country.

The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are,
Bitcoin legality is not about who you are but but it is about of how the government judge bitcoin. The simple person has no control over bitcoin to make it legal or illegal only the government.

Yes, it's true. Unfortunately, many countries now speak negatively about bitcoin and are increasingly looking closely at it.

Let's return to the origins. The question of legality of bitcoin can be directly answered. No. Bitcoin is not legal. He does not recognize any framework, borders and is based on the trust of people, citizens of whatever country they are.

Most of the countries do not accept bitcoin as legal, as they have no strong basis and backup. Japan said that trading with these cryptocurrencies would be a legal aspect, but like India and China and many other countries do not accept this trading legal yet.
As of now some countries are not accepting bitcoin as legal because they had there own way in trading there products but other country use bitcoin as there payments.

most of the countries didn't say if bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are legal or illegal. Very few countries like Morocco, Algeria etc banned cryptos. While most countries think the usage of cryptos for illegal activities should be controlled. Same time they all agree that blockchain can be used in many fields in a good way.

like many posters have said, it really depends on the country you live in. that said, i think the main point to consider is that it really doesnt matter whether certain government agencies consider it legal or illegal - apart from turning off the whole internet and keeping it off, bitcoin cannot be stopped or contained
