It is perfectly legal to receive, trade, buy and sell bitcoin. Their are no laws against it anywhere (I'm pretty sure) unless you live in a place like North Korea.

yes i agree that cryptocurrency is legal, because some of the countries allow operation with cryptocurrencies,,while other prohibit it,,the most important thing is to pay the tax on the profit you made,,more also its one the advancement in technology,,just to make everything easier and more convienent,,so for this reason cryptocurrency its legal

For me I think its legal because it is handled by the Governments in every country whos having a bitcoin but if its not a governments then it is handled by the professionals.

Bitcoin is totally legal because most of the country are really into bitcoin but saying that most of the country agree to this kind of organization i think there are few who are not because some of the government don't allow btc on their country.

I agree to you buddy. Well, actually it depends on each country if bitcoin os legal or not. Here in my country bitcoin is legal which supported by our central bank and government. Having this bitcoin gives a great support to my financial stability for our daily consumptions which make sense that I'm lucky enough since my country legalized bitcoin.

Bitcoin is of interest to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and legal regulators, all of which are trying to understand how the cryptocurrency fits into existing frameworks. The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are, where you live, and what you are doing with it.
Bitcoin is indeed banned in some countries, but in most countries it does not have a defined status. The Bitcoin community must gather a "critical mass" of its supporters so that governments do not stand a chance in fighting Bitcoin. Only widespread use and popularization of Bitcoin can change the attitude towards it from its opponents and recognize it as a means of payment.

I think you're lucky, lots of people who want something like that in the country, but the opposite happens. many countries in Asia are making regulations that prohibit bitcoin and depress users

It seems to me that governments have already begun to fight bitcoins in various ways, the main one of which is information warfare. All major media are controlled by groups close to governments. Collect a large number of supporters of crypto currency has now become much more difficult than before.

At the moment, bitcoin is fully original on the territory of a number of countries that are very adept at crypto-currencies in general, I think that many will agree with me. But unfortunately there are very few such countries.

Exactly, bitcoin legality does depend on where you are going to spend your btc on. If you are using it for eligal matters then it is eligal.

For me, Yes. It is legal, because in world of cryptocurrency, bitcoin is a money through online and easy to use but there are countries are not allowing to use bitcoin, its because of their belief that bitcoin can break their image.

In my country (in Russia) the last few years the government likes to prohibit everything. And of course they think in that way about the cryptocurrency, so it is quite possible that soon it will be illegal to use the crypto in Russia.

As been sain by many in this thread, it is mainly dependent on the perspective of a country.
There are other that legalized it, many others have regulated it and may be legalize in the future, many are neither legal nor illegal, and a few have banned totally crypto in their soil.
It is very fortunate here in our country that crypto is accepted by banks and remittance centers.
Hope other country will follow suit

In other places around the world, the legality of Bitcoin is viewed differently, but for the most part it remains relatively safe to use as long as it is not tied illicit purchases or activities. Many countries have issued statement indicating that bitcoin and other digital currencies are not regulated and do not exist as officially sanctioned currencies: a status that could put users at risk but would not have them violating any laws. Bitcoin is outright illegal in some countries.
Depending on where and how you utilize bitcoin, it is important to remain up-to-date on the latest regulations concerning digital currency.
