Bitcoin is of interest to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and legal regulators, all of which are trying to understand how the cryptocurrency fits into existing frameworks. The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are, where you live, and what you are doing with it.
In my country, bitcoin is not legal yet but luckily that there are investors who dive into crypto world and create and exchange which really help us to freely cash out our earnings in crypto currencies.
I am not sure whether my country will legalize bitcoin in the future but I am hoping and positively thinking that it will happen in the near future.

Yes bitcoin is legal. It is only on how people uses bitcoin to make it not legal. In my country bitcoin is both legal and not legal. It is not legal when you use it in unlawful actions like making transactions or buying things that doesnt good( specially drugs)

In my place bitcoin is still not legal used as a purchase tool, but here is not banned as a digital asset. So I just save and occasionally sell coins with cash. I hope my country's government can legalize the whole bitcoin as currency.

Majority of democratic country don't ban bitcoin but they are trying to regulate it. Lets face it government needs our taxes to run our country, imagine if they can't find a way to get tax on cryptocurrency, they will get broke.

For me, I can consider bitcoin as legal. In some countries, bitcoin needs to go through a process and have a approval from the government. Some also regulate the cycle which makes it the downside of it but in the end, it is still considered  as legal...

This is still a debate whether the bitcoin is legal or not. There is a country which already has a policy allowing bitcoin and some are otherwise. so not all countries could let bitcoin circulating freely. but most of all just follow the rules of each country because someday bitcoin can alone have a chance to be accepted in all countries.

In some countries such as Japan and Japan have become a legitimate payment method, many use bitcoin as one of the solutions to transact, but there are still many countries that have not legalized and there are even some countries that do not support bitcoin.

In my country Indonesia, Bitcoin not regulated yet so goverment not allowed using Bitcoin to make transaction for good and service. But in fact many kafe and restaurant here accepted Bitcoin for payment good and service. So that mean this technology can not stop by anyone

Yes ultimately bitcoin and cryptocurrency is legal, many celebrities and even politicians are into crypto right now and they are patronizing bitcoin because they know what does bitcoin's potential will be in soon time and by that after they invest in crypto, they will become successful and I think by that, the bitcoin is legal.

And why they look only in this direction, and do not want to first clean it of scammers who very much spoil the whole picture. Probably first of all you need to think how to protect people, and then the investors themselves are taxed and controlled by their activities.

For the time being, the state bodies to look closely at the crypto-currency, trying to understand what it is and whether it is subject to control and taxation, we have the opportunity to earn on the crypto currency. In most countries, there is a rule that if something in business is not prohibited, then it is allowed. So if the crypto currency is not regulated yet, it can be used as a legitimate means of payment. In the future, all states will come to the need to regulate the crypto currency and its taxation.

Yes bitcoin legal in my country but only limited as digital assets, bitcoin has not been legalized as a valid payment instrument. But it does not matter to me, because I only use bitcoin as a digital asset and once in a while I sell to earn cash.

I`m totaly agree that legality of bitcoin depend on the goverment policy
In Bangladesh, this cryptocurrency is not recognized
Bolivia is also unfavorable for operations with cryptocurrency.
China today freely permits its citizens to extract altcoins and to speculate on them in different ways. However, banking transactions with bitcoin is ban.
Ecuador bans bitcoin, as they are in this state are considered to be a competitor of the state of electronic money.
Vietnam, as a socialist country, monitors digital currency very strictly. they convinced that bitcoin is used only for criminal activities and money laundering.

Yes the bitcoin is very legal and it is used and patronized by many celebrities and also politicians and by that I must say that bitcoin is legal, some countries are not really banning it but instead they are only regulating it because they also wanted to be a part of it most especially the government. Regulating not banning. Legal not illegal.
