It is not banned at least. I think more governments will legislate it as the companies start accepting bitcoins as peyments. E.g. Far Eastern Air, Taiwan's Far Eastern Air, has announced the adoption of bitcoins as payment for tickets and other services

Have just read that the Chinese authorities are going to check the accounts of their citizens and companies to circumvent the ban on trade in crypto-currencies and participation in the ICO. Assets of violators are frozen, and accounts are blocked

In my country, there is still no law that would regulate crypto currency. I believe that if the law does not regulate this, it is not prohibited.   Wink

Yes, bitcoin is legal. Although it is not regulated in Central Bank, it still legal because of its some reason like it doesn't violates the law or I must say there's no law for cryptocurrency.
In fact, it helps people to have better income for their future.

Bitcoin is "not illegal", that is different to be "legal".
Simply, lot of countries have still no idea about what to do, and - waiting for a common position - they do nothing.
We'll see.

Bitcoin is making exciting progress in the Philippines. The central bank of the Philippines has issued a virtual currency exchange guidelines. According to the plan, Philippine officials officially recognize bitcoin as a payment system. Soon, bitcoin will become a legal form of payment in Japan.

In the future, more and more countries will use the bitcoin payment system, and it is only a matter of time before bitcoin is legalized.

In most countries, it is either in a legal or gray position. Where officials want to take control of the process of mining and trading coins-there are changes in the legislation.

The legal use of BTC depends on the country you are in, some countries have embraced it, others completely banned it while others are still in the legislation process. whether its legal or not totally depends on one's geographical location

Bitcoin is of interest to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and legal regulators, all of which are trying to understand how the cryptocurrency fits into existing frameworks. The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are, where you live, and what you are doing with it.
For me even if bitcoin did not supported by goverment I can say its legal because of this is the only way that people can make a huge income by participating forum activities.

To date, the legal is all that is not prohibited:) Cryptocurrency is above the law, as it is not described in it.

Yes, it is true. The law of bitcoin depends on where we live. In the country where I live, bitcoin is not legalized as a medium of exchange. Even countries forbid the use of bitcoin as a means of payment. However, the government does not forbid citizens to deviate or use them for transactions with legalized countries.

I thought you don't have any idea how bitcoin works. It is not like a bounty all about. It is the innovation of our generations. Bitcoin is legal even in other countries. You can make a moeny in trading not only here.

If talking about the issue of bitcoin legality is very dependent on which country we are. There are some countries that have legalized, and there are some that prohibit. Particularly in my country, the government does not prohibit the use of Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency and neither does it legalize it. That is, there is no legal provision about Bitcoin.
