Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL?

Many projects are very successful, but the sale of Altcoin from bounty hunters makes their prices go down quickly. If you want to make more profit, you should keep them as you will help stabilize and go up, you also get more profit.

For me it's HODL especially if you know that bounty you had joined is really good. Maybe HODL for 6 months or 1 year I guess their project was already progress that time and the token value already rise that's the perfect time to sell your bounty rewards. Goodluck.

Everything depends on the value of the project. If the project is really worthwhile, then its tokens must definitely be stored. In the future these tokens will grow very much in price and you will get a good profit. But if the project is frank slag, then such tokens should be immediately sold when entering the stock exchange. As the guy above me said... You have to assess whether or not the project will survive. If you think there is a >50% chance it will survive and become profitable, Hold. If you think there is a <50% chance it will succeed, sell.

I will hold it if it has a good prospects and its price can rise high, or at least i will waiting until listing on exchange, because usually the price is higher than in etherdelta. Sometimes I sell it immediately to increase my trading capital to get another profit or to pay out my bills. It depend on my situation, should i hold it or sell it

It depend to setuation if i need money for financial problem i will sell it immediately but if not problem i well hold it until price will go up i want to invest someday

You have to keep an eye on every project, your bounty can turn into 0$ in weeks or x10 also.

I started doing bounties sometime around October last year when I made junior member here in bitcointalk and I have amass about 35  bounty coin since then. I never sold any coin. Although I regret my decision sometimes of not selling ( because my portfolio is down about 65%) I still believe of a brighter tomorrow. I have now resolve to sell them (those I have less faith in)  immediately any of them moon and invest it on coins situated among the first twenty in coinmairkepcap. I think it's a wise decision. But coins like  trade token, genesis vision, micro money, viberate, capp token  and so others I really believe will stay with me still I decide to quit  cryptocurrency which is probably NEVER!

You could sell a percentage and hold a percentage. Sell 20-80% and hodl the rest.

With all those token rewards I got from the bounty campaigns I participated I can say I still hold most of it. Maybe I had sold at least 20% of all the tokens I received from my bounties since I started late last year but many of it I am willing to hold even if it takes time. Waiting to reach the moon to give me good gains.

From what I've seen, many coins after being listed on exchange get dumped and have a dip in price. You have to realize a lot of bounty hunters are pretty experienced, so they could sell immediately, and then wait for the dip to buy more coins. They're probably not giving up on the project completely, just trying to buy the dip.

It depends on the demand of your token that you got in bounty rewards if there is too many bounty applicants or members then you should sell it immediately because other applicants will be panick to sell and this will cause the dumping of your coin/token.

Actually, it depends on your own decision. If you start looking for a good project, I suggest holding the bounty you get, but if you think you are not optimistic about this project for a long time, I suggest Sell ​​it immediately.

Let's face it, lots of us don't have the time or eagerness to study coins. There are some out there that curious enough to do this. And because of that, we tend to go out on a chat group/comments looking for answers. This way we decide to hodl or sell. This is also the reason many sell fast, they tend to follow what others are feeding on them. This is not best and should be avoided.

Technical Analysis is still the best way to know if you would need to Sell now or Hodl. If the word "Technical Analysis" scares you then lets use "Self Awareness". Be aware of what the coin is it. Then decide for your self. Sell All? Sell Half? Hodl All? Hodl Half? I think this is the best way.

It honestly really just depend, do you believe in your project, whats the price expectation, Image a couple years ago if you got in bounty that paid, eth, bch, or ltc, bitcoin gold, etc, you would probably be a millionaire. If you dont start seeing production, or work being done within an expected time frame, or you think, they just gave up, dump and GET OUT!!!!

I belong to a country wherein, most people are underclass level, in drastically in need of money to serve our biological needs, bills and the likes.

So when I participate and recieved my hard earned bounties,I wait for about a week and sell all the coin even though the roadmap isn't fully complete. I am not patient enough to wait and hodl for a bigger gains. The price is so volatile, and it will fluctuate at any time.

It really depends on your needs and your faith about the coin.

I would most likely hold half of it and sell half of it but I won’t just sell them right away. But the other half is hodled for long term because you’ll never know that this coin might grow and cam potentially be successful in the future too.
