This is your choice...you must know many things about the project before you  decide if you sell or hold

I’ve been doing bounty campaigns for a few years now. When I received the bounty rewards, I sell around 20-30% at first and just hold on to the remaining, I don’t want to regret when my token reaches a good amount of value. But when I need the money, I’ll still cash out of the remaining rewards. So basically, holding is a much better option for me.

I think one of the reasons on why many are selling right away  is because of the fear that hackers might be just around and ready to take away the money. We might not be investing money but investing time is still a lot of effort for me.

I do not like selling coins when it's lower than when ICO, and when I got bounty rewards then I'll keep for a long time or at least 6 months, if I see those promising coins then I'll always keep.

You can answer this questioin by yourself. Just pick randomly let's say 20 bounty campaigns and look at how the price has evolved over a period of 6 months and 1 year.
Then you'll realize the only way to make good money with bounties is to hold. But take the time to do this study and you'll see, it is interesting.

i think bounty reward  It depends on our choice on how we run our tokens. It simply goes into two ways that when you hold your coins but it goes to wasted or be dumped in the future you are the one will suffer...
And if you sell your coins now at low price, then the price of that particular coins will rise into 5 times  in the near future you are the one who will regret. All your decisions may you have to take a risk. But the best thing you have to do is to sell a half of it for the bills and other needs..

I will split the token and sell half of them. The other half I hold them, in purpose that the price will going up someday. I sell half of them because I need them for living cost.

For me it depends on the project that I have participated if in the first place they are honest to all the rewards that distributed Im sure the project has a good future then holding your bounty tokens is a good move because we can see it in the beginning some bounty rewards takes 4-5 months to distribute and when I receive it I sold all my bounty theres no reason to hold it when developers are not transparent to bounty hunters.

I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

I’m actually working on signature campaigns and I only invested my time and not money. When I first had my token as payment, I hold it for a while because I believe that the value of token will increase more however, the opposite happened. To be honest, the value of my token dropped with 75% and seriously, I really don’t know what I will do to my tokens. Should I sell it or not?

I also stick to the strategy to hold the tokens for a long time.
But that's what you said fairly in the growing market. I'm not sure that this strategy will be best if the market does not grow by the example of a year or more. I admit the possibility that in some cases it will be more profitable to sell immediately.

I prefer to sell about 80% of the received tokens, and hold the rest. Unfortunately, most tokens become cheaper over time. And only a small amount becomes more expensive.

If you think that your coin or token is worth of holding then you must hold it to make double your profit and beside if the project is good then you should decide for your self if you are going to sell it or hold it or maybe you can sell some part of it then hold the other or you can sell it in the right time its your choice.

For me when I receive my bounty rewards I automatically think of selling them specially if the price is reasonable or if I think that the price is equal to the amount of work I have done. I also sell my coins immediately specially if I need the money to pay bills or buy my needs. But whenever I receive my rewards and I don't necessarily need it right away I HODL my coins for a little longer in the hope that it will rise in price and I would gain huge profit from it.

The true meaning of the bounties is to conserve what has been received in the hope that it will have a big increase in value.
Changing immediately what has been earned is a pity, even if sometimes it is convenient.

That's a good idea. I agree with you. I didnt sell all my coins that I had from bounties. I could make at least $20.000 from them. At least I could sell and I could get half of it. But now they dont even worth more than $1000. Then I thought to sell half and sell half. Now it is better.

As for me I do sell the half of my bounty reward if needed or HODL it if not and the other half for investment in a good ICO project..

Well for me, i will sell the tokens immediately especially if the the token/coin has no future, but if the coin has a future, then  i will hold it for a month or two then sell it. My friend got lucky in waves bounty she said to me that he made almost a thousand dollars in that project but for me, tokens aren't advisable to Hold longer since they are risky to hold

If you are very confident that this is a very good project, you should have at least 1 year to double your profits. I prefer to survive, But all the benefits depend on you. Why sell tokens as early as possible when the token has just been released to participants and on the exchange, If only you could wait a little longer to get the price up to the top at least you can get more. And I would rather hold a token if I believe this project has great potential and a real product to offer the real world not just ideas and speculation.
