I recently started mining, but stopped after some minutes because of 70% reject rate. Any suggestions how to fix this - is there any special cgminer flag/setting required?

If you were seeing it about the time you posted, it's because the pool was on XenCoin - where 56% reject ratio was normal.  Even with that, it still works out very profitable according to the stats.

Yep, it was XNC but why is there such a difference between the coins?

I wonder this myself...  I don't know that there is anything I can do with my settings to get a lower reject rate, but I am getting high amounts of rejects on certain coins and almost none on others

Coins with shorter (quicker) block times always give a higher reject rate.
You might submit a block when the pool already moved on to the next so your submission is rejected.
Not much you can do about it but the pool takes this into account when calculating profitability so don't worry too much about it.

From the best of my understanding, it constantly updates the earnings estimates as you mine, rather than predicting based on hashrate. So as you continue to mine your earnings estimates will increase until the daily BTC payout or auto payment threshold is reached.

Also, great job on this pool. Very well designed, love the coin-based vardiff, and it's definitely the most profitable multicoin pool that I have used thusfar. My only wish is for more detailed stats pages (including pool top 15 MH/s and Shares/s, past blocks and their rewards, pool/user hashrate graphs, etc.) More detailed transaction histories in general (ex on the User Ledger, show the payouts for the user from all coins, and the estimated BTC exchange rate per coin.

A graph similar to the BOTPOOL layouts dashboard would be great; charts for Pool hash rate, Network hash rate, User hash rate/share rate etc. Maybe just a general website UI update, it's basic and bland looking, could use an update to a more modern style.

Overall very well done, love the pool and can't wait to see what's in store!

Thanks for the kind words! We hope to have some more detailed stats in the near future, will look into adding some of the stuff you have suggested.

Another handy feature would be a batch file creator similar to the ones on the WeMine pools. for new users.

Also, a failover/EU pool would be a great idea once it's feasible.

Keep up the great work!  Smiley

That seems a little low....but yah, the last couple days have been fairly bad (for everything).... not sure on yesterday's number (I'd estimate in the .014-.016 range).  Previous the recent market jump for btc/dump for alts, you could expect in the .017.-19 range more or less.

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC

Unfortunately, I think Hashco.ws is a possible source of the problems with low payouts...
Using Cryptsy's Auto-Sell feature, we are most probably dumping coins at the first bid price.
Since we are dumping there, people on Cryptsy no longer wants to pump up coins cause they know whatever they pump up, Multipools / miners will push them down again.

We could try is to sell to the lowest sell side.  It may take longer but hopefully it will stop the devaluation of the Alt Coins.

Auto-Sell is great for miners on the short term... but in the long run, Alt Coins will be undervalued and kept there by Cryptsy... eg: (GDC, IFC, ZET)

I am not sure about all of you, but I would not mind trying to disable conversion to BTC and sell the coins ourselves...

Or...

Get paid weekly if asking for BTC and see if we can Auto-Sell on the Sell Side instead of the current BUY Side.

1) We don't use cryptsy's auto-sell feature
2) We don't dump at the first/current bid price
3) We give you the exact feature of disabling conversion to BTC to sell the coins yourself. It is one of the main features setting this pool apart from any others.

What is your rejection rate? HW error rate?

Keep in mind that the server doesn't accept invalid shares, so what it is accepting will only be a subset produced by your overall hash.

How the hell did you get 0.2 BTC in 24 hrs with 2mh?  With 5.5mh it's a struggle to get to 0.1.

Is there a 0 missing?  According to their chart, their best day in the last 3 weeks was .0219/Mh/s

I don't believe that figure for a second.  He must be missing a 0 or couple.
