Hello Guys
cgminer 3.7.2 I have a GTX770 120-150KH/s - 98% Load for a couple of hours Wanted to test before I switch to AMD
My Hashrate on the website: 0 Kh/s and 100% rejected showing on the website
And on cgminer: Rejected 01axxxxxxx Diff 154/15 ......(damn didnt get the rest of it)
Is it maybe because I have an IPV6 Provider and can`t PortForward? but cgminer is working fine - gets blocks from stratum pool 0, adjusts difficulty, switches through the altcoins...
I have no clue what to try or do

We are always looking to add nrw coins and even look at current coin performance and we will add and drop coins accordingly. I'll address other questions when im home from work im a few hours.

For those interested in hard numbers for how this pool pays..
I pushed 34oo kh/s for 24 hours, ending at payout time of December 1st. The payout was a puny 0.03769646 Btc. I stopped mining right at the payout and was sent another payment 24 hours later of 0.02544911 Btc.
Grand total for 24 hours @ 34oo hk/s ~ .06314 Btc
I think that was a decent return, though it seemed it might have been much better if FastCoin had not been being mined. Most of the time the coins chosen to mine were in the middle/lower part of the Coinwarz top 10
Yes, I had to point my distant 1.2 Mh/s rig to one of LTC pools because of fastcoin (and other fast low diff coins), otherwise I get 70+ % rejects due to laggy gprs modem connection. Few weeks ago it was good profitable decision to place a rig somewhere, where the temp is low all the time and electricity is for free, but nowadays, when outside temps are bellow -5 degrees of C (22 Fahrenheit) and profits are insane even under full 1kW load, everyone with Mhs/kWh ratio of 1:2 should mine at home

Is it possible to remove the "estimated" daily bitcoins and just add a counter to see exactly how much we're getting in a 24 hour period?

I dont think they can do that ShaBan, because they dont know how much it will be since the coins are constantly going up and down and arent sold instantly. Sometimes we will lose a bit, sometimes gain.

With cudaminer all is ok Got cgminer running, but with --scrypt (forgot it ) BUT its hashing with only 10kh on 770 Without --scrypt it was faster but wasnt recognised by the website... sry am a noob and on a friends 7970 with only 20KH Friend didn't get it running without --scrypt, too. He has standard dsl, opened all ports Oooooops found this.... my fault didnt configure it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117221.0

CtmanGer, if you could post your .bat information, we may be able to help you. It likely has nothing to do with your internet connection, just how you configured your miner. I'm also running a 7970 and am getting ~600 kHs.

I've tried to cash out some tag coins from my account but they just won't go out...
Sorry, TAG got left disabled for payouts due to the recent fork problems. I've got to go in and clean up some erroneous balances before re-enabling. I will try and get to this tonight or tomorrow. This is cleaned up and payouts re-enabled.

Okay so finally decided to make an account here and ask this..
Why not trade the coins after each round? These coins are so volatile that by the time it gets to 11pm EST, the 'most profitable coin' is only the one we are mining at THAT time, the rest are completely random, usually less on average.. What's the point of an auto-switching auto-trading pool if it's really 'auto-traded ONCE'? You're better off just stashing each coin till it becomes profitable again THEN sell/dump it..
Is that not how it works, or at least should work? Otherwise this profit-switching thing makes no sense.. I'm fine with a one-time a day payout, but you should be trading these while they're still profitable!
TL;DR: 1) Trade these coins at the 'profitable' times, after each round.. 2) Stash a days' worth of coins. Then as you build up inventory, sell them the NEXT time they are profitable (I realise this may upset some miners, but it would reward the dedicated ones - in fact, this will discourage hopping as well).

We do trade coins after they mature, we just simply don't dump the coins, unless they are above our target price. So in theory, we do trade when the coins are at the "profitable" times The second point you bring up could work, its a good idea that everyone would need to agree to. Thanks!

Yeah the issue is the maturity may take quite some time =\
Let's take a poll on it, I have another miner coming and I'm seeing more profitability at other pools, but I can, and want to totally see hashcows working. Also, you guys need to do a smoother transition when you start mining another coin - start up the other server in parallel and do a proper hand-off so we don't all disconnect and then reconnect.. wasted 30sec every 20min of the day or so, adds up...

Yea, we already are working on something along those lines. Thanks though you bring up great points, we value the feedback.

If they knew in advance what a coin's future price would be then they would be better off trading than running a pool. The best way to try to ensure that they get a good price for a coin is for the coin selection algorithm to take into account market depth on various exchanges, time to mature and transfer a given coin type, and typical trading volumes. If you want to get slightly more out there in pool design and coin selection I do have one idea (which might require a little extra work). During times in which multiple small network hash coins are significantly more profitable it might be advantageous to split off chunks of the pool's hashpower onto those coins. This would be potentially less damaging to the low hash coins targeted than slamming them with 600MH all at once (making it more likely they can be returned to profitably in the reasonably near future), in some limited situations it could reduce the total miner time lost to rapid coin transitions, under some situations it could be easier to trade smaller amounts of multiple thinly traded coins rather than larger amounts of one, and it might significantly reduce the rate of stales and rejects in some cases. The use would have to be judicious in order to outperform the current method, and obviously you wouldn't want to split while mining FTC for instance, but in some situations it might boost earnings.

There was a period of about 45min or so where they were held up. Everything should have since been sent by now.

The once a day is just when we pay out the miners (as we have to manually transfer and make sure we have enough earned btc in the hot wallet ect. We trade coins in the background throughout the day! We somewhat accomplish #2, simply by many coins having a long mature time. You'd find if you stopped mining, you'd end up with payouts over the next couple of days as well. Doing this intentionally is an interesting thought.

Market depth and maturity time are factored in, though many alts are so volatile these days, its interesting times. Regarding the split hash...I've thought about it quite a bit when I first launched the pool, but dismissed it due to not being compatible with us allowing users to receive payment in the original coin type, as well as being somewhat unfair, if one group of miners hit a higher diff coin than the rest, resulting in fewer rejects and therefore a larger piece of the (presumably shared) pie. However, it may be possible to accomplish something similar using a specific group of coins with similar attributes, and only every splitting between 2 coins within this group. Something I'll revisit at some point.

I realize that MOST people don't mind being paid in BTC at all. But it would still be nice to be able to choose a payout coin OTHER THAN BTC. It would be nice if they'd consider adding that feature in the future.
