my estimates is steady dropping from 0.022 to 0.016 and i even have more (400khash) hashing power. somethings cant be right, but i guess we will know the true value once it gets paid tonight..
Oh, it is right. Expect worse day by day. That's the price to pay for throwing hundreds of Mh/s at coins when they look a bit more profitable and
the need of dumping coins at exchanges, at lower price, in order to get BTC. Some more profitable coins can't be mined in auto-pools because that profitability wouldn't last 10 seconds. If you want better payouts, you need to set up your own strategy, including having your own scripts, pools and trading bot

Also doesn't help that BTC is almost at 180.

Even if you look on MCXNOW the prices for alt to BTC has dropped dramatically. Even LTC is at 0.01 almost.

Unfortunately on the eve of our worst payday by far (somewhat due to some stuck rounds that came in within the last hour, missing pay time, but mostly just crap markets), some historical perspective of how we've done since launch:

https://hashco.ws/profits.html

This will update automatically after each payout.

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC

Since we are sharing graphs I just threw together a chart for myself and thought i should share it. I run 4mh/s and I just threw together a daily income graph for 10/1-10/19.  might be something use full to somebody so here it is.

I have a question :

I set payout threshold at 0.1, because the exchange I'm using does not allow deposits below 0.1

I have been noticing the following (just 2 examples, but I have been seeing more of this lately) :

wdc WeUgJLdPHcQc661s3LmBe19zFaGcvMoo6c Debit_ATP 0.037997
wdc WeUgJLdPHcQc661s3LmBe19zFaGcvMoo6c Debit_ATP 0.038231

These transactions are not being credited, but simply refused and lost forever.
Ofcourse were talking dust here, but a lot of dust lost in the blockchain forever makes no sense does it.

The question : would you look into this matter ?

(Another thing/idea : the Ledger listings would be fine if there were only the Debit_ATP payouts, instead of the complete list of credits, eg 25 times 0.00000001. The actual ATP transactions are of interest to me, the partial credits not.)

Another day in the gutters or
with Cryptsy down and out, will the other exchanges pick up and make the coin values increase?
I think trading on other exchanges will increase and help bring the coins back up.

ltc and ftc mining give me 0.02 minimum...im outta here if the payment isnt close to .02...this pool should be getting us more than LTC FTC profitability...

LTC farming at the current rate gives you .01 per mh~  Yesterday was our WORST day since launch due to many factors, the main one being alt coins plummeting. Overall I'd say we outperform LTC most of the time.

Today's EST payment is backed up since one of the exchanges we use is down.

You can always earn more if you want to trade the coins yourself. Smiley

Yesterday's payout was quite a bit less than just mining FTC or LTC by themselves.  I know you said a bunch of coins were stuck but today's is even lower.  Sorry guys but something has to be wrong somewhere in the pool/auto exchange system.  With almost 6mh my estimates is .03?  That's terrible compared to LTC alone which is almost double that.  How is it that we can make so much less than LTC?

Have you been on to Cryptsy today?  They have been migrating the site to a new setup and they have had a couple of issues.  We have seen this time and time again when sending coins to exchanges where the daily estimate is way down but come payout time when coins have been exchanged the estimate/actual is where it should be.

Alt-mining is dead, bitches! Time to shut off your rigs Grin

But seriously, try a coin calculator - everything just dropped about 20% yesterday alone, and 30%+ in 4 days, on top of a similar drop over the last month or so... I keep good data on my soon-to-be-worthless 17 MH/s.

Time and Time again the estimate doesn't go back up before payout like you seem to suggest.  This is an awesome idea and it worked great for a few weeks before this last one.  I'm not stupid and know how the market is going to shit but I know when I mine ftc, ltc, and dgc exclusively based on just those 3 profitability I make within 5% of my estimated not 40%.

The issue of having the auto traded coins stuck in an exchange seems like the biggest issue here.  It was fun while it lasted mining pump and dumps that drop in value instantly once mined but it looks like sticking to mining the few bigger coins is where the few of us left mining alts will end up over the next few weeks as these alts tank even more leaving pools like this a waste of electricity sadly.

+1.

The value of alt coins is headed to zero unless they find a purpose. Eventually someone will come up with a significant improvement on BTC but they haven't yet. Who buys them for from us at the exchanges and why? The only motivation I can see is speculation, a belief that they will hold a greater value in the long run. As time passes and the value creeps ever lower the obviousness of the falsity in that belief becomes ever clearer.

It was fun while it lasted but my electricity company is not the cheapest place to buy BTC from buy a long way anymore. I am now officially retired from the mining business.

Thanks to the Hash Cows for providing a great pool and excellent support.

Same thing happened a few weeks ago and the payments caught up the next day. This drop (v. expected) was bigger, let's see how tonight's payment goes. Just as I thought, the pitchforks are out over in the middlecoin thread as well.

Don't jump out the window, I didn't mean to be a downer! Just in shock and hoping Chinese interest will rekindle things, there has to be hope.
