Sure but it's a pre-order. So it's for a machine being assembled as we speak. It makes sense that as soon as we can mine for ourselves we should ship big orders so our ACtM mining will go up at the same time as we start shipping and probably not a long time before. Possibly a matter of days.

I hope you are right.

If you have a working chip, working board, cases, working prototype and plenty of these components in stock then the rest is just assembly.

Assembly is nothing in this scenario. So from prototype to shipped product CAN be a very short time. Prototype means different things in different circumstances/industries. Here, after this relatively long lead-out time it  means assembly of a few pre manufactured component parts in their designed order. Once you prove that the prototype works the prototype is as good as the finished product, so from prototype to shipping need not be a long process. We hope!

No one knows about the order for sure. Pure conjecture.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Lol price on BF right now is 0.0015. Up 3x in last few days.

Admittedly it's low volume, thin market, but I really don't think we will see price hanging around when we get live again and we are shipping and hashing. It will go above previous all time highs and if everyone is holding for the divs there will be a low supply meaning it will be a sellers market.

Thanks, I needed some positive news.

How much further could an announcement on chips or shipping be? Sort of a rhetorical question... it has to be relatively soon.

Ugh, can anyone tell me how to transfer out my shares out of Bitfunder (or sell them)?  I only have a trivial amount of shares (~780)

Announcement

Due to Bitfunder closing down, we are extending the deadline to transfer shares to AMC-TENDER until November 13th, 2013.

At this time all shareholders should follow the procedure for transferring shares to AMC-TENDER.

Dividends which are due to be paid tomorrow will be suspended until we have the share problem solved.

We will be creating Pass-Through shares on a yet undetermined exchange for our shareholders.

After the Pass-Through is created, we will pay the suspended dividends.

Active Mining Corporation (Belize)

You should better transfer today. See here how it works:

Through a little analysis of the mining address and the extra 3.44 BTC input the other day, it seems that the extra BTC manually sent in was also from BTCGuild pool. So we can conclude that the possible prototype miner was under control by Ken's another BTCGuild account. Can anybody confirm it? Do you think the prototype miner is also in BTCGuild pool?

Where is the proof? BFL also announced a fake order of 1 mil $ through bitpay but i don't think anyone ever saw the transaction in bitcoins. Please show me some kind of proof for this sale. If it was in bitcoins then it's easy, if it was by wire they can post the transaction with everything blurred except the amount, but i don't think we will ever see it.

it's really not our business, as mere investors, to see it.

I can't tender the shares because I can't/don't want to log into Bitfunder currently... something seems to be wrong with the SSL certificate... looks fishy. Probably it's just because it expired (and I guess it won't be renewed, given the circumstances)?
