Ken told me that there would be an announcement by the end of November in a replay to a message I sent a couple days ago.

LabKen's big announcement is "Bitcoin could go to $2000."

I cringed when I saw him write that.  Here his shareholders are hungry for information and he's speculating on the price of Bitcoin.  It's betrayal when the man who owns your money is too busy watching a horse race to care about answering questions about company progress

I say you should hold your horses a bit longer. Ken has to make an announcement by the end of this month , we have been waiting for months now so an extra 10 days won't kill anybody. Take a chill pill  Grin

but I see the point you trying to point out. We all been waiting for ken to come out and drop that big announcement, give us the investor a bone or something but instead we got a speculative comment about the price of bitcoin.

I believe it was just a comment to emphasize the risk of day trading our funds.

That's been confirmed a rumor/misunderstanding  The "announcement" you are referring to was the balance report.  There is no announcement in regards to building fast hash machines.  Huge misunderstanding as anyone here will point out.

and I understand that, I'm also quite happy ken has not converted the coins. However, I believe most people would have been happier if ken had said something about the progress or at least say I would make an announcement about it in X days. But that's just my opinion.

Wrong. It is not confirmed that the balance report was the announcement. There should be another although it may not contain definitive information on building fast has machines.

I stand corrected. It has not been clear, apparently.

Here is what I know:

Thanks for the information.

Can we expect to have prototype information with the P&L report?

With the account info, I will be including a statement about the company.

How about that statement about the company?

Most likely next week sometime.  Just got the reports done today at 4:30

Edit: Chatted with Ken last night. He reiterated that the proper expectation is "this month".

Ken,

The user neilol and I are interested in flying out to Springfield next week. What do you think of this? Is there too much under the NDA for us to come by?

If you would like to come, I will buy you lunch.  I would be happy to talk to you.

Ken,

The main goal of our trip would be to learn more about Active's position in the market, gain a better understanding of how the company is operating in person, and to learn as much as possible about the future of Active. So, seeing as the trip will cost us hundreds of dollars each:

Do you think it will be worth it to visit, or are a majority of our questions going to be answered in the upcoming announcement?

If we went, would we be able to fulfill our goals in terms of desired information, or would the NDA prevent this?

Thanks Ken.

I think our upcoming announcement will answer a majority of your questions.

Death is nothing to us, since when we are, death has not come, and when death has come, we are not. #yolo

Is it safe and reliable to just wait for the site shutdown and automatic transfer to issuer?

(Site is very laggy and I can't transfer without 2factor, would rather not bother with it. But I have a huge number of shares I would like to keep.)

Hello,
for transfer my old Bitfunder share to the new new stock exchanger, i need to send all to AMC-TENDER account on bitfunder?
Thank.

Yes. Transfer them to Ken and he will put them on the new exchange when it is open.

Log in to BF.
Go to the 'Transfer' page.
Select 'ActiveMining' shares.
Select amount - (all your shares)
Input AMC-TENDER into Username box
Click TRANSFER.

Before you do that, go to the 'Settings' page and make sure your 'Public Bitcoin Address' is one that you can sign from -  eg a Blockchain Wallet- https://blockchain.info/wallet

Take a screenshot of your tender confirmation page and save it. You do not need to email or PM Ken. You may be asked at some point in the future to sign from your wallet address (with your Bitfunder name) to prove you are the owner of that address.

Ken,

I am an investor in ActiveMining and was under the impression that we would have word on the progress of the ASICs at this point, but we have heard absolutely nothing. You have stated that you are under an NDA. When does that NDA end? What is the estimate on when we can expect to have our miners hashing?

We will be making an announcement this month.

Probably the 3TH/s Ken said would be up and running about now.

Actually, we're still at 1.4 TH/s:

-According to dustcoin.com 1.4 TH/s would have mined 1.38 BTC/day with the previous difficulty (~511,000,000).
-Ken made the announcement about the 1.4 TH/s on October 31st, the mining address had 4 BTC back then.
-We now have 33 BTC, so 33 - 4 = 29 BTC that we mined in 21 days wich is just about 1.38 BTC/day.

edit: http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty has more data.

It's around 2,8 TH/s then as Ken keeps 50% of mining profits for reinvesting

We don't know for sure that only half of the mined BTC go to the address we know. Does Ken have another address that holds reinvestment funds?

It does, as the BTC balance is 0 after every div payout

Previous div payments are not relevant as Ken said he would withhold 50% of the new revenue and we haven't had a payout since then.

Ken, can you confirm that https://blockchain.info/charts/balance?address=1DJpsvnM7xTnQbWEhLYyCyfxQyxwupEzCa is the correct and only ActiveMining address?

My guess is yes, the Bitcoin income is the same as last week meaning it includes the added hashpower, if this address had no new hashing power it would be a lot lower.

In short, the added hashpower has gained us a week.

Yes,  this is the only address that we send mining revenue to.  We will be reserving 50% of the new revenue for growth and expenses.
