Who...cares everybody?
I care and so does Ken going by the very strong response he made to the blackmail threat. It's very easy for you sitting at home to think this is not an issue and why should we care but when you run a business and you have people threatening to try to destroy your business and demanding money to cease that IS a very damaging thing. We don't benefit as shareholders from ignoring attacks, serious attacks on the company or the industry we take part in.

Or is there no way to calculate that in such an illiquid environment??
I think there are 9,000 shares or something like that on cryptostocks. The market is beyond illiquid, it's stone. The prices look awesome, but in no way reflect reality, unfortunately...

November 23, 2013 17:09 Sell 0.003741 100 0.374100 BTC November 23, 2013 17:07 Sell 0.004000 220 0.880000 BTC
This is from Cryptostocks. What would you guys say the price is at right now? Or is there no way to calculate that in such an illiquid environment??
If our shares went up today, before the announcement, I think the price would quickly get to 0.003 and that's where a large sell wall would occur. The price would then gradually drop all the way down as far as 0.0008 unless that downward trend were to be intercepted by the 'announcement'. There are many shareholders who are acutely aware that they could have sold a while ago for significant gains and got very worried when the realization dawned on them that they could potentially lose the lot. For this reason I'd be surprised if the price initially rose above 0.003. I think what's more likely is that this 'announcement' will occur before we get listed. The price will shoot up to 0.008 and those who would have formed the sell wall in the above scenario will realize that holding is the best course of action. However there will be one or two whales who will sell regardless at around 0.003 because they've had it with this adventure and they just want out. Me, I'm in long and in it for the dividends because if we play this well, the potential is enormous.

You can speculate the possible price movements for days but never come close to what WILL happen. Who saw 0.007 coming with the eASIC news release?? It seemed an outlandish number the day before.
I'd say good luck to anyone wishing to get out at a good price, you can't blame them realistically after the long wait. But I would say not to let the long wait effect your view on the longer picture/forecast for the company. I will be holding for the divs no matter what price goes to. If the news is good price will go up yes. But remember if news is good the divs will be very rewarding.

I tend to believe that once AM is on a real exchange the price will be a bit higher than the endprice at bitfunder... which was 0.0005-0.0015BTC but it will not be very much higher. I mean this is still a risk and the price only was pushed because of thin informations and the absence of bad informations yet. I wonder where the price would be if there would be no NDA. Would there be bad or good information posted? So for now its still betting on the future with not much informations basing it on.

+1 Losing sight of one's initial long term strategy could prove costly if you sell too low.

It depends on the announcement. We dont know if Ken is thinking 500-1000 TH, or if he might go tada, and reveal a measly 5 TH. He doesn't tell us what the plan is. So who knows.

Seb, I think you missed zeros from the above prices. I'd let you sell shares for me, but you're certainly not buying on my behalf!

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable. Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Yes that's true. It will be interesting in that the stock won't be live when the news comes out - I would think. So there can be no news spike. This may mean prices are more stable once the new exchange opens as the BTC is mined and the company progresses. Not particularly useful for traders but an interesting side point. btw you don't need a new BTC chart from me right now. It's all good. Price is very strong right now around the area of the last spike high. That is a very bullish sign I'd say so expect 1k very soon. This is being priced by China still I would think but with the West coming in strong soon with the Branson news. As we know '8' is a lucky number in China and the spike on the 19th was to 5888 Yuan according to BTC China. So once that is broken the next target will be 8888 Yuan - or approx 1200USD on mtGox taking into account the BTC China 'premium'.

I would personally advise to stay well clear of that thread as this guy has serious things to think about over the next few days. Thanks all.

Ken said in this thread that he would have the final ACTM financial reports by the 30th and then he confirmed in a PM to Kleeck that the financial report would 'probably' come bundled with a report/update about the company (presumably meaning it will have to do with the prototypes, chip orders, and mining).

+1 Losing site of one's initial long term strategy could prove costly if you sell too low. Thats right. Dividends will be way more profitable than ever. You may get what you were hoping to get from the dividends alone. If ken pulls off the chip, which I strongly believe he will, we'll do excellent.
