We will use the Bitcoin address to verify the Bitfunder username and the transfer information.

So somewhere on bitfunder there's a table with usernames and associated pubblic addresses? I could only find the one with shares and associated pubblic addresses

Yes, Ken will be able to get the public bitcoin address for the respective usernames that tender shares to AMC-TENDER. Make sure you can sign messages with that address.

Issuers of stock have more information available to them than do us normal folk.

Really? I'm not sure if you are being serious. You mean holding for the divs?

I expect a high share price when we get back to trading (hopefully using colour coins). Due to dividends starting to roll in thick and fast.
And being unable to trade while this is happening..

No really, as far as I know divs can go either to BF accounts or to public bitcoin addresses (i.e. direct shares)... We'll know Wednesday

The only thing is, I just realised if you wanted to reinvest the divs into more shares that may not be possible on BF? mmmmm

EDIT-

looks like that would be OK for Verified users:

On December 2, 2013, all bitcoin balances in the accounts of users that BitFunder knows to be U.S. persons and users that did not obtain "Verified" status by December 1 will be transferred to their linked WeExchange accounts.

EDIT2-

And obviously from today you can't trade unverified (haven't tried yet) so the above is a side issue really. If you don't want to re-invest, your divs will be moveable/automatically moved to WeExchange - I'm guessing every week by Ukyo? Seems a lot of work for him. Surely he might have to block divs for non-verified users to stop btc building up in their account? Either that or ignore the divs?

I thought you're in the UK? trading and DRIP shouldn't be a problem if you get yourself verified.

Yep but the security issue over how Ukyo stores the documents we supply is a concern. If the SEC request them does he hand them over? Are they going to be safe from hackers? Not insignificant risks involved there.

Edit - oh OK so if you are still non-Verified (or a US resident) by Dec 1st your shares get sent to Ken anyway for holding.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 1, 2013 - Havelock Investments (HavelockInvestments.com), a leading Bitcoin Denominated Investment Fund, announced today that it has executed a definitive agreement to be acquired by The Panama Fund, S.A, a fully licensed and registered Panamanian Investment Company.

The acquisitions creates the world's first, fully licensed, Bitcoin Denominated Fund Exchange, where companies from around the world will be able to raise capital directly, through the exclusive use of Bitcoins.

With this acquisition HavelockInvestments.com will be able to maintain its current Funds, as well as expand its operations, while attracting new opportunities in the rapidly expanding Bitcoin Marketplace.

The original HavelockInvestments.com team will remain in place and will play a key role in the future growth of the company.

Please tell me Ken is now considering using Havelock!

Was I helpful or insightful?  Feel free to say thanks! 1PuoasR1dYtNq9yYNJj9NreDAfLEzc3Vpe

I would prefer if they went ahead with the ActiveExchange instead of moving to yet another site. The share transfers have got to be a major waste of time for Ken & Co.

Really?  What are the advantages to the share price to keep them in an ActM-only exchange?

I would MUCH rather have the shares available in an open exchange where anyone can easily buy and sell positions, not a private exchange where only hardcore ActiveMining enthusiasts are trading amongst themselves.

I never said there were any.

The "ActiveExchange" would be a public exchange just like Bitfunder et al, but there won't be market trading until colored coins. Good luck easily buying and selling positions on Havelock with its very low liquidity.

boy oh, I'm kinda torn.... I'd like to have access to other options, but I'm sick of transferring stuff allover the place.

PLUS - I like where Colored Coins are heading: DECENTRALIZE everything.

EDIT: just took a peek around Havelock, the interface is carp crap.

Currently, yes.  However, if they are truly "fully licensed" as they say, it will likely bring the investors in, creating liquidity.  Worth keeping an eye on, at least.

Remember everyone, no proof this new fund thing with Havelock is fully licenced to sell US securities.

It looks like they just moved country, that is all. Nothing fundamental has been changed so I urge caution when considering them. I recommend waiting it out a few months to determine how "legal" their new system is. I suspect they will soon block US customers, unless they start filing paperwork with the SEC.
