Tranz Im going to post the updated wallet on my site. In the changelog it says "allows for larger amounts". Im assuming staking amounts. What is the largest stake block size without hitting max reward now plz? Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

What is the largest stake block size without hitting max reward now plz? Vegas Allows for larger stake/combine threshold values. Same equation as CAPs but just change the 1000 to 250 and the Pr to 1.00as base rate. Although .95 is safe. Obviously that number will depend upon how old the coins are, and what the current yearly percentage stake rewards is. Assuming they stake right at the 10 day mark and we are at 100% yearly, the biggest you can have without hitting the cap is approx 9,100. The equation is: 250 / ((Pr/365 ) * D) Pr is Percentage reward which starts at 1.00 D is Days old. Reply

For CAP I use 10000 with the same result. cheers!

Hey, I started to see a weird message when I went to open up my 1.3.1.0 wallet. The wallet has been working since I updated. It is encrypted, but I unlocked it to do PoS and it has been minting. I had to do some work on my rig and powered it down, and this came up when I restarted it. I have the wallet to start up when I restart the rig. (Running win 8 )
" "MinGW Runtime Assertion"
Assertion failed!
Program: C:\HoboNickels-qt-1.3.1.0\Hobonickels-qt.exe
File: src\kernel.cpp, Line 372
Expression: pindex->pprev ||pindex->GetBlockHash() == (!fTestNet ? hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlockTestNet) " Then if I select "retry", I get
" Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!
Program C:\HoboNickels-qt-1.3.1.0\Hobonickels-qt.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." I have no idea what this means, or what to do about it, because I'm not QTwallet master.
Can someone give me some insight as to why this happened and what to do about it?
I'm assuming that I need to backup my wallet.dat and delete some shit from my appdata roaming folder or something, but I really don't know.
Let me know if I need to post up more info.
Yes, as presstab stated, you will need to navigate to %appdata%/HoboNickels folder and remove the database directory, txleveldb directory, and blk0001.dat file. You can re-sync or use the files presstab has given. You should, as you noted, make a copy of your wallet.dat before you do this. Finally if possible, could you or someone else, rar/zip up all the files i just mentioned, that are causing this error, and put them somewhere. I would like to to do some testing with them to nip this bug in upcoming v1.4 release. Thanks FYI I am getting this same error after updating to 1.5.1 from 1.5.0. Error remains if I try and go back to 1.5.0. Time for a re-sync... Anyone have a recent blockchain download?

If newest wallet, there are rpccommands. All 1.5s have start up switches as well.

so if i type splitthreshold 9000 it will split it if the block size goes above 9000?
Lets say you have a block of 17500 and splittthreshold is set to 9000: Your Block stakes after 10 days for ~350 hbn, your new Block will be 17850 - no Blockhalving occurs. After the next 10 days, your Block stakes again for ~357 hbn, now you will get two Blocks of 9103.5hbn. Hope i explained it understanable

Interesting discussion. Please let me elaborate a bit cause there is a little more to it I think. With the splitthreshold command everyone owning HBN can change the default splitthreshold of 5 to a maximum of 100 HBN. so far so good. But a threshold of 100 means that a staked block including the stake it produced won't split if the combined amount is less than 100. Example1: splitthreshold set to 100, staking block = 95, POS-reward is 4, combined amount is 95+4=99, Result: no splitting, just 1 new block of 99. Example2: splitthreshold set to 100, staking block = 98, POS-reward is 4, combined amount is 98+4=102, Result: splitting will occur, 2 new blocks are formed of 51 HBN each. As for the maximum threshold amount, everyone can set it at 100 but some can set it even higher. To do so, you need to own a certain amount of HBN. The amount you have will decide what your maximum splitthreshold can be: It's the total of your stash divided by 500. So if you own 100K, your max splitthreshold will be 100K/500=200. Already twice the regular maximum! Big wallets contribute a lot to the safety of the network and this is the perk that comes with it. So buy and keep to raise your limit, or not, it's all up to you!
