I know that there are many kinds of alternative coins existing today, but is it better to have that many coins instead of having just a few? What are the benefits and harm in having that many alternative coins?
if in my opinion it is better to only have one altcoin than to have many altcoins, because if you have many altcoins we will find it difficult to supervise our coin growth, but if we have only one altcoin, then we will be very easy to see the coin growth even though the risk of investing in one altcoin is greater than many altcoins, because when the coin price drops then we lose all our money but if the price goes up, we immediately get a huge profit and if we invest in many altcoins then when one coin price goes down there is still another coin the price might increase and can cover losses incurred as a result of the coin price being down, but we also cannot always monitor the growth of coins that we have if there are too many, so I prefer to invest in one altcoin rather than many altcoins, because it is easier to monitor and see the growth of the coin, so if a bull run occurs or the price increases we can immediately sell it and immediately get all our money and profits, but if we invest in many altcoins, our money will be divided into several coins and when one of the coin price doesn't increase, we cannot withdraw all our money. |

Choosing less coins for holding may more risky or may more wisely. We can not know that actually. Because for example you can choose one altcoin and you can go all in that. and it can do 300x. But you may choose 10 altcoin and you can divide your money to these 10 piece of altcoins and these altcoins may do only average 20x .. So in my opinion choosing 3 or 4 coin is the best number for holding.

Has many types of altcoins but the price is broken, has a few types of altcoins but the price is high, or have many types of altcoins at high prices? Very relative right? So everything depends on your ability, analysis, and current prices. Of course I would prefer to have a lot of altcoins at high prices. To be able to get it, we must have a basis for analysis. Being able to read opportunities in cryptocurrency is the key, plus luck, because we can really predict accurately which coins or tokens will 'boom'. |

I prefer to have few altcoins since i do not like to invest in too many different coins
Most coins are just clone coins anyway and will surely disappear over time.
But there are certainly many people who collect altcoins.

if you have cash i suggest get the top 20 coins and keep it for a while im not telling you to buy a lot but just enough that you don't empty you pocket
getting like few hundred of pieces of that coins will be okay, now after that forget it for a while not forget it forever, then wait for the bull run
then here is the thing dont be greedy get the investment money you put in, then play the profit and your good to go

What difference does it make how many coins there are? You can earn on one or two or three. For example bitcoin gives me to earn, like many others. I don't care how many coins there are on the market. |

I prefer to have many altcoins for as long as they are genuine or it is a long-term project and not just a pump and dump on exchanges.
It's nice to hold this kind of altcoin who have a vision and not just a long whitepaper.

I think that it is enough to have 5-10 coins from the top 30 in your investment portfolio. Not worth buy 20-100 coins and wait for big profits.

I think it is better to have more altcoins than just very few maybe 2-3. Cause mostly every different altcoins have their own roadmap and own goal yeah many of them are same but in those similarity they offer many difference many advantages many upgrades and this competition is healthy. It will grow the technology. And if you have only coin that will be manipulated by whales most of the time that is vary bad for friend level investors or users for use that alt. So I think it is better to have many altcoins I know not all of them survive but is this competition who survived that project will be very mature at a point.
