Today, I am getting a notification asking me to enable 2-FA. I don't have it enabled yet, but I did get a deposit recently, so this begs the question. Is there a global notification asking everyone to enable 2-FA or am I being asked to enable 2-FA, because I have a certain balance in my account. Please let me know. If it's because of my balance, then I understand. If it's a global thing, is there some threat I am unaware of?

A notification on the front page or in email? I haven't got an email from them about the 2FA authentication but I've been having one on the front page for quite some time now.

Front page after logging in.

That's normal. I had been having that on and off. And only recently activated the 2FA.

Thank you, CatFur!

Hey friends, just saw the comments about activating 2FA. There's no requirement to enable 2FA, but obviously we highly recommend it...especially if you're using FreeBitco.in as a wallet for a large balance.

Because we know some of you won't want to use 2FA we've enhanced security measures even if you're not using it.

Leveraging email notifications and authorizations, we're enhancing security to:
  • Request a withdrawal - You'll need to authorize all withdrawals from your email address
  • Login from a new device - You'll need to verify the use off the new device via email

I know, additional steps but it's worth it to make sure that you are the only person interacting with your account.

If you have questions, I'm nearby!

thank you for clafirying these things sir, me myself idont know what is really mean by 2fa and what is it really use for but now isee that it is more important to use and activate it for my account to be more secure and safe from hackers. although my freebitco account has not much balance and im only playing on faucets for quite some time but  i manage to  win some bitcoins on multiply btc and this why i love to use freebitco.in

Nah fuck playing Hi & Lo, house edge is too dickish but it has to be that way to keep the site running, invest some btc in ads to get some referrals, ROI will take quite awhile but you'll have steady stream of bitcoins each day with about 500 active refs. I make about $2-3 each day not gambling just redeeming each hour with 1000% reward bonus and +100 reward points.

mellowads.com has a faucet that you can redeem each 24h for a banner campaign. I also had good conversion ratio with a-ads.com but it's not free.

This comment has to be quoted. Hilarious.

I want to talk directly about this with all of you. Every game of chance, every house of gamble, every casino has a return edge in favor of the house.

It is how the business is able to continue operating, you've got that part right!

What you're leaving out, which is really important, is how much we're paying you back:
  • 4.08% APY on your balance
  • 25% commission on the interest you referrals earn
  • 50% payout on the Free BTC rolls your referrals play
  • Paybacks on the wagers your referrals make

Looking at the interest alone, you're getting 4% on your money and 1% on your referral's money...I'm no mathematician but I think 4% + 1% = 5%.

So if you think the 5% house edge is "dickish" let's also talk about giving you back 5% isn't dickish...it's actually generous.

TL:DR; Gary, don't be an asshole.

i dont advice your, using freebitco.in as a wallet, because they have dice on their site and it willnot be safe for your bitcoins, you willnot be able to stay away from their dice very often.

good luck...

We understand what you're saying but the gambling is only a portion of the balance and it's all backed by mining. The only question I have is whether it's insured or not. XD

As for the Lottery winner. LOL!

Be careful martingaling on the multiply, I've seen it frequently hit the 10th bet. it's serious stuff and I always top after the 8th loss or so, or you end up betting real ammounts of money. the most I lost on the doge sister site was around $200

Helping inform my local community about BTC since 2017.

I'm sorry I don't quite understand what you mean and it might confuse new users. If you can stay away from playing the Hi-Lo game or dice [if that's what you mean] then there is nothing to worry about the safety of your bitcoins. In other words, just because they have a dice-like game on their site does not mean your bitcoins will not be safe, especially if you're only using it as a wallet - there's a difference there.

I have been able to stay away from the game. I have played it a few times but that's it. So everything is up to you.

yes, i am talking about playing hi-low, because i think its very hard to stay away from gambling, especially when you have some money and ability on the game site and you are using this site as a wallet.

i am not telling that you freebitco.in is not trusted or legit, but keep bitcoins there is very risky because of hi-low game.

hope you can understand what i am telling.

good luck...
