a dump is a opportunity for buyers.
this is a good read http://bitcoinist.net/pump-and-dumps-good-or-bad/
im not saying tek was in a pump and dump, but the info he lists is good. Notice the "good" side of a quick rise and fall in price. Building of community and cheap coins.

Back in the end of march i bought 15k tek at the end of a down trending dump for .000085
Sometimes a dump and downtrend offers the opportunity to make money.

So this "event" was based on the upcoming announcement of the HYPR coin or just that fact that a massive dump was about to take place? In any event, this price drop is very significant. I feel for new investors who are losing their shirts over the past two weeks.

TEK is a great coin. I hope the greed of a few doesn't destroy it for others.
I was afraid a whale dump would occur. By then, the Hyperstake was not even considered, so this is urelated. I own a lot of TEK and I am going to buy OTC so I am attached to the coin.

New investors are not losing their shirts if they are OK to wait. TEK requires waiting. Granted the one who bought at 120k will have to wait around five months for recovering it the price doesn't rise. Not a lot of coins can say this.

What I am concerned about now is liquidity. I am ready to use my position as a TEK semi-whale to help market making if some can guide me through this.

Zeros0m, could you coach us? Sincy you traded on illiquid markets for 20 years, you certainly know what works and what doesn't.

Waiting for my first block (200 TEK) to mint, and it's been about a day so far, on and off...

The weighting value has just hit 204, and I'm having to run the wallet on a VM on OS X because I couldn't get the wallet to run using the Mac install. The VM itself is configured to have 2Gb RAM and dual processors... Is there anything I need to do, other than hurry up and wait? I Was hoping this would mint yesterday...

I just wish you could kinda speed up the whole stake process... I now have 2 blocks that i'm waiting to stake - one from 3 1/2 days ago that now has a weighting of 645 and another one from today which has got a little weight to it as well...

Wallet is unencrypted, no conf file (it crashes when I set one up, even with 3 simple lines, running the exe on a VM), but still nothing...

Still no block explorer either - server error (500)
