OK, I planned to sit and wait until mining starts. But now, more than one year later I don't want to wait a longer time.
After reading a few pages back this "unofficial" info about a never starting Round 17, I requested a refund.

Sent a PM to bobsage3.

I know about the risk of a pre-order. But there is a little bad feeling regarding the group-buy maintainer and the hardware supplier.
Now I hope the group-buy really doesn't start after receiving the refund.

Don't worry since you won't get your refund (I requested mine 2 months ago with no response) there is little danger of you getting a refund at all. About the same odds that mining will start, in my estimation both are hovering around zero.

I was refunded this weekend.  I feel kinda bad about the fact that we never got to mine, but it's all good.  I know we all had the best intentions when this started.  It's too bad that the hardware manufacturers are so flaky.
