If you would like to sue come up with 10k and well do it but I'm not fronting the money again

How about those who want to, pool their X3-mined coins (assumptions apart Tongue) till they get this ten grand?
Could we get up to ~16 coins? Huh With how many shares/holders?
Then we sue and pass the lube back to ba. Grin
I'm in.
Actually not a bad idea, except that if we take delivery of the X3's we nolonger have anything to sue over!

It looks like we should start seeing X3s next week, possibly the week after.

As is stands right now, R17 has 15 machines left on order, plus 8 compensation machines with PSUs paid for.

That gives us a low end estimate of 38TH over 765 shares left, high end estimate of 50TH [1TH/Module to 1.2TH/Module] ; so 49.67GH per share to 65.35GH per share, minus colocation. This assumes no change to compensation from here on out

Our second option is to convert the 15 units to 1500 chips, and pay 750 to have them assembled into marto74's technobit boards. This would obviously increase the colocation costs, and possibly delay the online-time, depending on when the X3s are delivered. The benefit would be an increase in speed from 38-50TH, to 75TH-86TH. We [Minersource] Will provide all the PSUs needed for the duration of the colocation, but the cost of the heatsinks will need to be paid for out of mining revenue. We are open to both options.

Thanks for the round-up, bobsag3, that's great, and for keeping the option open.

1. Had no idea there were so few loyal ba customers left, though some call us chumps.

2. Personally reluctant to go to a fourth party, however competent, and complicate matters.

3. Think we have a better position to wrangle with blackarrow for compensation. They need to be seen to sort out loyal old R17 properly, or do they not?

4. Quite see the contrary arguments too, though would need exact figures for W/Ghs, heatsinks and increased hosting sorry collocation. Someone remind me?

5. Think the 1+T/hs blackarrow modules will be more saleable on ebay (Philip?), and we should get on with selling them off sooner rt later while 1 ths still looks like something to the wider chumpatron.

tl;dr railzand vote hold

We could take the 38th-50th  of built machines.  Since speed helps  and they get here faster. mine them and list one at a time on ebay.

trying to add more cash to double the hash would only be an option if it was the exact same time to get it.

so if we have 23 machines each with 2th mining power  selling them one by one on ebay. as we mine may work out.

in usd fiat 765 x 130 = 99,450

a 2tb machine may get 2.5k  and we have 23 of them…  If we list 1 at a time to sell them. we can pull in some coins with the remaining ones mining.

We can only make a usd /fiat profit if coins go way up.  So if we get back 50 cents on the dollar fine just get it over with. If we are mining as fast as we can and selling one by one on ebay.  we could get lucky and coins could jump up in price.  we could then raise the ebay selling price and do better then 50 cents on the dollar.

As I understand each machine gets 2 modules of 1 to 1.2

below  is   a list of 2th machines

My previous maths was flawed (based on the minion performance when running at 0.5w/GH), I now think the boards are our best bet, but only if we pay for the boards in cash not chips. Is that option still on the table bob? (Obviously I could do it direct, but that 20% discount swings it). Also can you lock the techno guys into a delivery timeframe? It will make no sense unless delivery is guarenteed.

We can pay cash with the 20% discount, (cash being BTC or USD) or with chips it makes no difference to I or Marto. Delivery should be pretty quick, as we have sent a decent number of chips already from minersource chips, and we can use those as a quicker start while we wait for these chips. I will ask marto.

The lack of posts/information has been deliberate, we got tired of posting news after news only to have BA prove it false, and as such declined to post till I had something concrete to offer.

I go with the flow.  I am back on my other pc and can access my philipma1957 account.

My main concern is no delays.  I would hate to  delay hashing another 10 or 15 days.

I also don't want to lay out more cash.

I would go for minion chips and assembly by Technobit and if possible, hosting by Minersource/DzMinerzCoop. Sounds like the best option for me.

The bit I don't get is how come the BA team failed so miserably to assemble the miner but two guys in a flat somewhere in Bulgaria can?

Also, I can smell another  communication cockup in the making, you need to have a crystal clear process for telling people how to register what they want to do bob!

I only have one share, but I'd be cool with the whole GB going minion route. I do hope the remaining GB share holders get communicated this choice as well.  Some may of last track of time due to all of the delays.

The minion route seems like the better option and definitely has my vote. How much fees are we looking at to pay for them along with the colocation fees?
