I'm sorry if this sounds harsh bobsag3, but it is crystal clear to me that in running a BA resellership that took the GB orders you have severly compromised your ability to act in the interest of the coop and this GB in particular. You may be well intentioned but are too conflicted, and certainly none of what you have come back with is of any compensation to the people of this GB, other than confirming that BA have failed miserably to deliver and not even had the decency to offer us a deal.

I think it's time the members of the GB elected someone to speak on our behalf, and hold you and BA accountable.

I would like to also request an official refund from BA / The COOP, as I have not counted this as a total loss. Order: #1380 - $650

My payment address is: 1PBWADoE8gGTGpvreJpeJW5w3hYkgmewtJ (paid in bitcoins, but am happy to have US Dollars back via paypal if easier).

Thank you for your work to date.

Please can you update me to my request quoted above.

Best.

At this time I will not be able to do refunds on these, due to the group buy'ed nature and number of units purchase. I am still working directly with BA on this, and will have more next week. Thanks for the patience, and yall have every right to be angry with me/BA over this, I can only promise that I will do my best to resolve it.

The DZMC website says plainly that refunds are allowed on group buys if the miners fail to ship.  That was the whole reason I bought 100 shares.  DZMC better be careful here.  This is moving over to scammer territory and I will not be treating this lightly.

Yea, DZ this round did not pan out, please cancel the order with BA and lets get us all refunded, possibly getting machines in May that should be hashing right now is just not what we bought into and is really useless to even start then.

Well since bobsag3 is an accredited reseller of BA, and resellers only resell if there is a reasonable margin involved (Typically 20-25% in IT), then the statement that "I cannot provide refunds at this point due to the group buy nature of the deal" is only semi true. Bobsag3 needs to be thinking about compensating the group as a whole out of his margin. I would suggest buying us some significant current hashing would be a good way forward.

As minersource now operates the dz coop website and is running the largest GB (r17), the failure of this GB to obtain info, keep track of BA's progress, lack of disclosure after delay, failure to negotiate a refund and inability to disclose the people behind BA will earn DZ coop a scam rating from me. Especially, MATT CARSON.

AS I said in a previous statement, I did not say no to refunds, far from the sort. I do not current have the ability to processes the refunds in an orderly manner (so no one's orders get messed up), and that is why I said we need some time to get a system in place, especially because of the size of this GB.

As regards to BA info, there will be much more to follow in the next few days (this week was the preliminary meetings / info gathering from us the resellers). I have released as much as I feel comfortable releasing right now, as per my legal obligations in contract with BA and the NDA with them and their suppliers.

And just a thought- would you prefer this to have been handled like hashfast or bitmine and  their delays? BA actually informed us of the delay a month before the expected date, vs after the fact. Just something to ponder.

I seem to remember someone claiming that BA was Hong Kong based and western owned. Their website claims mainland China though: 801, Building 2, Huangduguangchang, Yitian Road, Futian District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, P. R. China, Postcode: 518048

Can anyone shed some light on this? or even what the real company name is? (Hong Kong companies are quite easy to trace directors due to British heritage of open companies registry).

There is a Black Arrow Ltd in Hong Kong owned by a single director, a Romanian called ALEXANDRUION SOVU, sincerely hope thats not them or we are scr**ed

They have a HK office, UK office, SZ office and SZ factory as far as I know. I have physically seen the UK and SZ locations, but the HK office may only be a mail forwarder/secretary place for getting things in and or out of china.

Surely the NDA does not prevent disclosure of who owns BA?!? So ridiculous it's not funny.

If they have a UK presence they must be registered at Companies House. Please provide the company name/address you visited in Reading so I can do our DD.

Their office is not in reading as they originally told me, it will be in London. I will provide all that info as soon as make sure I have it right (I took notes, but im a terrible speller). They intend to have all that info publicly listed on their site just as their SZ address is.

You guys have to understand... I have just as much exposure as the customers do if not more, due to my legal status as a company etc etc, so I will fight tooth and nail if needed, and they know that.

Surely the NDA does not prevent disclosure of who owns BA?!? So ridiculous it's not funny.

Its none of my business to share that, your more than welcome to call them or mail them directly to ask for that.  You can also look up their publicly available company info, and the more info that will be published shortly.

   I am out about 1560 usd on this r17. 12 shares at  130 each = 1560.

maybe one was only 110 and then I am out 1540.

I am up  more then 5k  on r5+r6 and r9-r12     So I am not going to fully freak out.  Also feb 24th -feb 28th would be the earliest  the hash started for us..

So far we have not lost out.
On March 1st we can say we were wronged.

Today is feb 7th.   I have read estimates of 70 to 130 th was sold in this round..

I Have heard 200,000 usd to 500,000 usd  in hash power was sold.  at 130 usd for 40gh it is 25 x 130 = 3250 usd a th     so 70 th is  227500 usd 130 th is 422500 usd.

what is the story?  for sales is it  227500 usd  or 422500 usd or  500000 usd or  600000 usd.

I ask because s-1 antminers run a decent price 1.45 for 1

 5 or  6 = 1 th

If we have 100th in this round   we could get  10 percent  of our hash ( 10 th ) in under 10 days for a not crazy price.

  buying 50 or 60 s-1's would get a discount.

maybe 50 would be 60 btc and btc has dropped in price a bit.

This would not be a full fix but it would help.

What I did to help kill the sting from this was I ordered 2 s-1's for 2.9 btc total.

I should be hashing at   360gh by the 20th of feb.

Not as good as hashing at 480gb by feb 28th  is dz/ba had not failed at this.  (as of today I say failed)  I hope it is boosted to slipped or stumbled.

Converting to another type of hardware is not really an option.

I will be able to start processing refunds on next tuesday, please PM me with your order on the DZ site, number of shares, meathod of payment, how you would like to be repaid, and payment address. I will only be able to process shares by the full machine IE every 50 shares, and the refund may take up to a week and a half (should be same day but we get swamped with other things). Also, unfortunately the refund fee will still be charged.

I hope this is good enough for now, but do know if you refund you will not be aloud to buy back in.
Thanks for your patience.

Bobsag3, will you be revealing more details in the next few days about any concessions the co-op might get since BA is behind schedule? I'd feel bad about pulling out of another group buy with DZ, but unless something really good comes our way I don't think we're going to break even.
