You are missing one small fact.......

ABCPOOL sends your hashes to other pools.

They are already making nmc from other pools like ozco.in. They just don't pass them on to their users.

Hi Joyyen & Gigavps,

Thanks for your comments, and for being two of ABCPool's largest miners!

We could change our system and pay out NMC also, but it wouldn't help you earn more. Why is that?

As you may have experienced at other pools the NMC income from merged mining is very low, usually around 1%. It's a lot of work for miners to exchange their NMC for BTC, and after exchanging you only get a few bitcoin cents.

When you're mining at ABCPool, you're actually already doing merged mining part of the time. That's why our fee is so low compared to other PPS pools. We could pay NMC also, but then we would have to raise the fee. We can offer 1.5% PPS precisely because of the 1% NMC we sometimes earn at other places. And thanks to our BTC-only payouts, you never have to go to an exchange to convert your NMC to BTC.

The low fee and corresponding ease of use may be among the reasons many people have decided to trust ABCPool with their hashpower since its inception in august 2011.

Happy Hashing!
MC

Out of curiosity, why would someone mine on this pool instead of say at MtRed? They offer true 0% fee PPS payout + merged mining of nmc. I'm wondering why more aren't flocking to them.

I'm seeing a lot of stales there. Reliability is still a major key when your miners are far from you. For this, most of my rigs are still at btcguild.

Since they disabled merged mining stales are very low for me. I prefer 0.3% stales over a 5% fee...

Why can you guys only pay 100% when Project #2 can pay 105% ?
Probably because they don't hop the shitty pools that give high stales, rejects, and bad connections. If you skip those, it reduces the number of pools to choose from, a lot.

Also the backend is pretty extensive and therefore expensive, from what I have been led to believe.

Why can Project 2 pay only 105% when Clipse can pay 110%, when just passing through to gpumax alone would get you ~120% and other hoppers are getting >130%?

Same answer I guess.

Hi,
Just a suggestion, it will be nice if we can see hourly hash rate and hourly earnings.

Cheers

I just joined to test it out.  Any reason that my miner is hashing away but it says my miner is "disconnected"?

It has to do with long polling; we ask each mining client to reconnect it's LP connection for performance and compatibility reasons. If your miner is otherwise hashing normally, don't worry about it.

Seems ABCpool is having issues with payout wallets, I have had the same locked wallet since the start and now its tuning my wallet is not valid bitcoin wallet.

EDIT: It worked now, weird.
