@MintPalExchange

Sorry folks, we're having a few issues with the NXT wallet. Until we can resolve them, we're going to add TeslaCoin (TES) which came second.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Must the registration stop at 18 at all? What is the purpose? I have some that are longer than 26 chars.

No clue, it's his code.  Just offering a solution that works within his rules.

It's because I want people to use this from mobile phones and so I wanted to force smaller passwords.

I think one way to solve this problem is to limit to 18 chars in the registration screen but have no limit in the password confirmation input, so if you paste a password that is too long, in the first input it will get cut, but in the confirmation input it won't and so the system will warn you that they don't match.

can't you just limit it everywhere and just cut it after 18 chars?

The problem is that then the user thinks his/her password is one, when in fact it's not... I think it's better for users to run into trouble before they register and then understand that it's 18 chars max instead of letting this pass and then potentially having issues later.

They only have about about 60 investors, it looks suspicious to me but it probably has some Nxt people because Anon is providing escrow.  I think you will find most members here are interested in all new projects, not just this one.

Enough Belgians had applied in December. They outnumbered the Dutch.

Still thinking about it. Basically there's not much information, so it's a huge gamble.
Don't invest if you don't feel comfortable about possible losses.

   Total: Fee earned 701996 NXT
6483973064837388393 has mined 163299 NXT.
The 2nd is     4747512364439223888    with 101830 NXT.
In the table below is the top "miners" and their cumulative NXT amount and cumulative percentages.

In the forum was yesterday a nxt balance distribution: top100 has 82.7%
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.msg5034054#msg5034054

In mining/forging the distribution is worse: 4 accounts have mined 56.7%, 28 accounts have mined 90%, and 98 accounts 99% and 400 accounts 100%.

    Fee Earned       %                     TOP accounts
    cumulative  cumul.

   163163    23.2                6483973064837388393
   253458   36.1                4747512364439223888
   334469    47.6                12692935506199079028
   398066    56.7                9433259657262176905
   433008     61.7                2159498187382012684
   458350     65.3                2584657662098653454
   480373     68.4
   501797     71.5
   516684     73.6
   528616     75.3
   540357     77.0
   551740    78.6
   562741    80.2
   571905    81.5
   579116    82.5
   585703    83.4
   591579    84.3
   597233    85.1
   602481    85.8
   606923    86.5
   610916    87.0
   614900    87.6
   618815    88.2
   622026    88.6
   625180   89.1
   628267   89.5
   631337   89.9
   634377    90.4

Is that 6483973064837388393 some special account?
it has had at maximum ~ 3 Million NXT, but it has earned fees almost double than those 50 Million's accounts.

Total: Fee earned 784334 NXT   :     82000 NXT more than in 11th Feb
(is that increase possible? - otherwise some data error).

Cumulative % of
fee earned, starting from TOP1
        20.8
        34.3
        44.6
        53.4
        57.8
        61.9

TOP's share is smaller than earlier.
In mining/forging the distribution is now:
4 accounts have mined 53.4% (less than before),
28 accounts have mined 88% (less),
and 98 accounts 97.9% (less) and
590 (more) accounts has forged 100%   i.e. 590 accounts has got some fees.

Something has made the distribution "better" ...   Smiley

Donation Fundraiser for the Guy who proofread the Reddit-Tip-Bot

The code is now tested and I will also request the payout for the creator of the bot.
Here is a quote of the tester:

Quote
from pkulak sent 1 hour ago

Okay, I'm ready to sign off on this. I got it running in a VM (under my own account to avoid low-karma issues) and everything tests out as working. I didn't do an audit of every line, but I did look at all the lines that were modified/added from the original altcointip project it was forked from:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/241970/audit/file_changes.txt https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/241970/audit/diffs.diff

It all looks good. It's good code. No security issues or backdoors, from what I can tell (as of 77d830d3ff0e79d73e798360f2594bcc8021ca8c). The database is not encrypted, which maybe you'd want since it includes all the private keys, but that probably doesn't buy you too much over just really locking your server down properly. Bit of a challenging project too, due to NXT's lack of resemblance to the altcoins that altcointip was built to work with.

His NXT address is: 13791631395073296157
He only received 500 NXT until now from LiQio.

Something has made the distribution "better" ...   Smiley
It is simple - time. The peak of fees - start of alias registering - going in past.
