Don't know what you did, but the pool is not working for shit. I have changed nothing in my scrypt or in my bat file, but I am getting an endless stream of "Found block for pool 0!" but NO "Accepted." ONe thing I find intolerable is to have my computer crunching numbers uselessly. Fix it!!!!! All I did was to compile the new coindaemon and change the block time from 40 to 60 sec. This looks suspiciously like a sha256 miner connected. I just tried to throw one of my ASICs on it and got something similar, shares found on pool but rejected/not accepted. The 7950 I threw on it works just fine. No, it isn't sha256 miner, nor is it an ASIC, it's an AMD R9 280x, the same one I've been using for a week, only now, all I get is "Found block for pool 0" over and over again.

The forum needs to be more polished for sure, but I'm sure it'll get to the point where we can use it properly I'm also interested in seeing the forum that the other member is working on. It's being switched over to SMF (the same software this forum runs on). It'll look great.

There are a lot of 'obvious' ways to make the block times more stable. But most of them also make it nearly certain that whoever has the most compute power gets FAR MORE than a share of the blocks proportional to compute power.
For example, if you ask people to solve a linear rather than probabilistic puzzle, then the fastest computer will win - every time. If you ask people to solve a dozen puzzles instead of a single puzzle, then what you have is a time to completion with (approximately) a 'normal' distribution -- but whoever has a computer twice as fast as everybody else an earlier, narrower "hump" in their normal distribution than everybody else. Because 90% of the possible solutions are in the area of the 'hump' that comes before the area in everybody else's 'hump' the faster computer will get to its solution 90% of the time before someone else does, meaning double the compute power gets nine times as much probability of winning.
I'm pointing this out because the complaint of getting beaten to every block is consistent with the problem of being in the smaller of two mining pools, or independent mining, under one of these flawed 'block time stabilization' algorithms.
What exactly is the mechanism by which the block times were stabilized? And does it leave everyone with fair chances at getting blocks?

I really wish the volume would pick up 83 BTC is nothing.
Now 77.2 BTC, quiet time on the exchange. Wonder how much this is linked to people staying away from Cryptsy for a bit to let it recover.

How to update client? Should I back up the wallet first? After backing up a wallet, how do I load it up again? Thanks
No need to backup the wallet. Just delete your old stablecoin-qt.exe and use the new one. Can someone verify this works fine even for encrypted wallet? Thanks, I am just going through this cautiously because I've never done it before and wouldn't like to lose any coins in the process I did this by building wallet from source on Ubuntu and worked fine. Just using the new 1.4 client and left everything else the same.

Just emailed the admin at Bter, I recommend everyone else ask for StableCoin support as well. Here is my message: To: admin@bter.comSubject: StableCoin Message: Hey, do you think it would be possible to list StableCoin on the exchange? It seems to be a really good coin with a lot of potential but Cryptsy is the only one trading it right now, and I would really like to see it on a better site, like Bter. Let me know what you think. Also, is there a place we can follow the dev team for updates?

Would be nice to see what the price would be if cryptsy wasn't absolutely fubar'd right now. How do they manage this? I thought they got a bunch of new servers.
