So after we hit an exchange now,
i think we should be able to buy something with the coins.

So I placed a request to coinpayments.net to get grain added there.
this would lead us to a variety of stores which would accept GRA.

So stay tuned, Grain for the world.

Price is crashing. Not a very pretty sight.

Getting GRA on coinedup has done nothing for the coin so far.
Somebody needs to do something major for the coin to survive real fast, otherwise GRA will be left for dead soon.
Hashrate is dropping also, can't be a good thing.

Price is crashing?  Only a few million have changed hands.  Fraction of a BTC in total.  In fact, yesterday at the IPO no one would sell it at quantity for less than 15 satoshi.  It took me 14 hours to build up a good stash at around 10 satoshi.  Its dipped down to 6 once or twice and rebounded immediately.

Fact is, no one knows about GRN.  If you want it to go up, get out there and spread the word.  There are a lot of things going for GRN that other recent alt IPOs didn't have.  When word gets out, I expect prices to stabilize around 40-60 satoshi.  A market cap of around 300k would put you there easily.  That's pocket change.

It's cheap.  Buy now...if you can get someone to sell quantity at the current firesale price.

I warned this would happen if it was launched too early, but not many people seemed to pay me any mind.

As I stated then, I'll wait for the price to drop further than buy in a decent share. I now have no need to mine Grain, and this is the inherent problem when coins get dumped on an exchange.

We have about 5 hours to reach the switch point for PoS.

The trading is pretty thin in the coinedup, so a few BTCs can make huge moves there. We are not worried about the price at this time, it's more a trader's game now. At least an exchange provide a facility for those miners who want to buy and sell. We will support and build Grain as usual and will enhance its value by having games, shops, services etc that accept GRAs.

Promoting GRA is the best way to make it gain value quickly.

On the bright side, GRA is so cheap right now that these prices can't hold forever.  People are buying GRA.  I figure about 1-2% of all GRA in existence have changed hands in the past 24 hrs, and the rate is increasing.  Before you get too down on it, check the charts for any new alt coin…low prices usually hold for a few days to a week until the miners finish dumping.  Then prices rise.  Now is the time to BUY!
