Id really like to hear from the dev and the marketting guy that started the coin off. Obviously this was a joke and its turned into something a bit bigger - id like to know what, if anything, they have planned for this? Are they continuing to support it and market it? If so in what ways? Its crimbo now so i dont expect much to happen over the next few weeks but would be nice to know what their thoughts are on it all.
Im sitting on 5 mil ready to go big or bust but i want to push 500k into a faucet or something open source but not sure what or how yet. Im not going to start up a give away thread as i think it targets the wrong people. Hopefully a facebook app/faucet will launch that i can submit to but its hard to know who you can trust :/
On a totally different subject does anyone know how you go about starting a faucet/doge interface etc? Is theres some API documentation somewhere? I assume its all written in PHP which isnt my strongest language but id be interested in taking a look - not managed to find anything looking about not sure what to search for!

Important read for true exchange value of dogecoin,
alright using coin produced dogecoins value should be around 142 on the exchange. It is definitely oversold at the moment.
As an example dogecoin will have 297 time more coins produced then feathercoin, if you divide feathercoins exchange value / 297 you get over 140 value for doge and this coin has far more hype behind it!
So yes people stop panic'ing the coin is currently selling 3 * less it's true value. It's a buying oppertunity!
I would say - People, stop buying at 50+! Let them sell at 40+ and buy it ALL for even more profit! The value will start to go up now as people switch back to ltc since doge isn't the mos profitable coin to mine. The best thing that can happen for doge is for the miners that don't value the coin other then getting BTC out to GTFO. well yes, but at 50+ it still the most profitable on multipool.us so..... I would buy a lot at 40+ How many coins does a 1000kh give 24hrs on Multipool.us?

yesterday i mined dogecoin at multipool.us for about 4 hours at 400kh/s and i get only 250 coins!! why?? what i should do?? HELP!! That's a lot less than you should get at that hashrate in such a large pool. Maybe try a different pool over night. Give dogecoin.miners-pool.eu or pool.chunky.ms a shot, see how that works out. Not necessarily. It's possible in that time they only got 1 or 2 blocks and remember block rewards are a random number between 0 - 100,000. There is no accurate way to judge how much you should get from mining over such a short period of time. 4 hours is not going to make for very accurate numbers. thx for the info. I think i'll keep mining on multipool.us for 20/24 hours and then i'll decide what to do. Just one question: is better use small pool? i knew the opposite

If it's just about talking to the daemon and having it do random transfers to whatever Dogecoin address is supplied from a web interface then it's very straight-forward. If you just summon the commandline client with "help" as parameter you get a list of RPC calls and their syntax.

Also, take a look at the sales. The sales coming out are at 20k or less in volume. Meaning I doubt any investor or Doge enthusiast is selling at the moment, it is ALL miners. So if someone tells you people are panic selling, they are dead wrong.

But what I know is that 4699.1 MH/s of multipool.us is about 20-25 % of total DOGE net hashrate. And that's a lot.

Thx for your answer. it crashes on Windows 7 when I try: importprivkey aprivatewuffkeyofapaperwalletforxmas in the console. It can take up to 3-5 minutes to importprivkey. I did 4 yesterday and it it averaged about 3 min. per key. The one with the most doge took almost 5. You got my hopes up. I tried again. But no, it's a crash. And not after minutes but immediately. I wonder where you get that very precise information from. Did you get some divine information whispered in during the night of what the precise value of dogecoin at the moment is? Did that source also predict the precise future values, separate from what the exchange rate would be? Exchange rate is a market concensus. So unless you have some information than most of us don't, I would consider the market to show the right value and your estimate to be, at least for this moment, to be a pipe dream.

there is a fundamental flaw in your thinking
doge is supposed to be a relaxed comedy coin which could also be used by cool people that prefer it cause its not serious.
YOU ARE VERY SERIOUS WHEN YOU HAVE ANXIETY ABOUT THE PRICES GO UP DOWN
DOGE TO THE MOON MAKE ME RICH PLEASE PLEASE IS VERY ANTI COOL

I assume its the dogecoind that ive been reading about but cant find anything regarding running from windows - im very much a windows developer (i know im on the dark side). Thanks!
