So, for Bitcoin lovers that think it's alright for bitcoin to reach 1000 USD and Dogecoin can never even reach 1000 satoshi, let's do some math...
So far approximately 12,300,000 bitcoins have been mined versus approximately 41,825,370,000 dogecoins.
At 1000 USD per Bitcoin (12,300,000 x 1000) that equals 12,300,000,000 USD
If Doge goes to 0,25 USD (41,825,370,000 x 0,25) that would be 10,456,342,500 USD (2 billion less than bitcoin value)
Why is this so difficult to believe?
Even if we do the same math for all coins to be mined that would still give similar results:
21,000,000 x 1000 USD = 21,000,000,000 USD
100,000,000,000 x 0,25 USD = 25,000,000,000 USD
This time Dogecoin would have more 4 billion USD in circulation but since it's a coin with much less "facial" value and much more use this is to be expected.
So in my view it's perfectly possible for doge to reach 0,25 USD or even more in a few years.
Despite the pessimists I believe DOGE can indeed go to the MOON and has a much better future that bitcoin precisely due to its much lower value per coin and the fast and easy way that it can be traded.
It's a coin for the people to use daily, not some kind of bond one keeps as savings for the future.
