I don't want to start whole "You can't compare Bitcoin and Dogecoin" thing but wasn't the history of Bitcoin price pretty much the same as Dogecoin now(even though Doge is so young at the moment)?

So why would it be hard to believe that the same thing can't happen to Dogecoin?

Who knew at the start of Bitcoin that it will reach 1000+ dollars. The same goes now, we can't know what will happen to Dogecoin. So enjoy the ride and make profit from your own choices. If someone wants to keep their coins let him be, if you are a dumper just go with it... and that's it.

No - its the same as every other crypto - plagued by people with far deeper pockets than us minions that will continue to manipulate the market as they wish.
Sit it out - if you cant stop watching the minute by minute price sell up and go home.

So, for Bitcoin lovers that think it's alright for bitcoin to reach 1000 USD and Dogecoin can never even reach 1000 satoshi, let's do some math...

So far approximately 12,300,000 bitcoins have been mined versus approximately 41,825,370,000 dogecoins.

At 1000 USD per Bitcoin (12,300,000 x 1000) that equals 12,300,000,000 USD
If Doge goes to 0,25 USD (41,825,370,000 x 0,25) that would be 10,456,342,500 USD (2 billion less than bitcoin value)

Why is this so difficult to believe?

Even if we do the same math for all coins to be mined that would still give similar results:

21,000,000 x 1000 USD = 21,000,000,000 USD
100,000,000,000 x 0,25 USD = 25,000,000,000 USD

This time Dogecoin would have more 4 billion USD in circulation but since it's a coin with much less "facial" value and much more use this is to be expected.

So in my view it's perfectly possible for doge to reach 0,25 USD or even more in a few years.

Despite the pessimists I believe DOGE can indeed go to the MOON and has a much better future that bitcoin precisely due to its much lower value per coin and the fast and easy way that it can be traded.
It's a coin for the people to use daily, not some kind of bond one keeps as savings for the future.

Bitcoin is wildly adopted, Dogecoin will never reach that level. This comparison was retarded.

the reason....? if you can't provide a valid reason, then your comparison is retarded..

I kind of feel bad buying some dogecoin from panic sellers in the 130's, but hopefully with that dip some new blood got involved and scooped some up.  This exact same thing happened with bitcoin and litecoin growing up, always going to be non believers and non professional financial consultants "giving advice".

the fast mining rate and 5% inflation are a burden on dogecoins price even someone like me whos a big fan see's that

something need to be done at 100k block we need a hard fork and space the other 50b coins over 2-3 years and a 1% inflation rate

It's the same game as EarthCoin Gaia.  Whoever is the last chump holding the ball loses all their doges and game operator makes out like a bandit Smiley  At least the EAC ones lasted 24 hours before expiration though!
