According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Are we supposed to receive order confirmation emails? Is placing two orders to get a total of 8 cards allowed?

Yes you can place multiples, we just didn’t want to have one person sweep in and take them all at once.

I would really appreciate an update every so often on how many are left in stock...congrats on your release!

There are currently a couple hundred boards open, and some more that are earmarked but I will make available to the community if there is demand.

I expect those couple hundred to sell out over night as the other side of the world gets involved, so if you want any I would get them now.
@GPUHoarder,
Does "in stock" mean in stock now? Or is the delivery of those 200 pieces expected to happen in August anyway?

Thanks for your reply. Is there a deadline for the bank transfer? My funds do not settle in my bank account until Saturday.

Why not CryptoNight V7?

Seems like ROI is about the same as a GPU, but the savings in power after ROI make up for it.  But then you are locked into the algorithms they release unlike GPUs.

It's a tough sell to me without a higher returning algorithm at the start.

Damn, decisions, decisions.

Because there's no such thing as cryptonight v7! It's cryptonight v1 on monero v7.

Let's get the community corrected on that point.

Anyone can release algorithms for these boards, not just us. There are several people doing it, and some have already posted public code. In the discord there's a dozen or so devs who are making bitstreams Smiley

Thanks for the correction.   If you guys are really going to keep these updated on the Monero forks, that's great news.

The other extra $100/mo in power savings Vs. GPUs became much more interesting.

It's not too scandaleous to name it Cryptonight v7
You just named cryptonight v1 where it should be Cryptonight Cupid Shuffle Wink
This like people saying it's not a hoover, it's a  vacuum cleaner. As long as we know what we are talking about I dont think it's an issue

Hi senseless, are you and GPUhoarder connected? It seems GPUhoarder identified himself as CEO or something of AirSquirrels. Consequently, the fpga.land website is listed as "in conjunction" whatever that means with Squirrel Labs.

Not sure if i'll get that info by backreading but would love to have more evidence this is legit.

Whattomine calls it Cryptonight v7. Can you just confirm  this FPGA will mine monero now at around 14k hashes a second with the needed Bitstream provided on delivery? I dont want an algo that a x3 does at 220k+

I dont think he can because right now it's only estimates. Relax and enjoy the ride

Hi senseless!
Happy to see the beginning of real fpga mining for all Smiley

I try to contact you with your contact form on your website for a lot of newbie question (and send you an email)... Do you receive it? Maybe question/response could be post here for anyone who want to begin mining with fpga (the "how to" begin or i prefer the "plug n mine" card^^) like me?

For cryptonight, i agree that we must name "cryptonight v1" cause v7 is due to monero changing algo v6 => v7 but they use cryptonight v1 (correct me if i'm wrong)
But, lot of profit/roi website (nicehash, cryptounit, etc) use "cryptonight v7"...

Maybe for your communication about the card capabilities, you may mention something on your website? (lot of people could think and test on roi website values on cryptonight and will think the unprofit of the fpga card...)

Just to confirm :
- is papypal ok? (when i go to checkout, i have this option)
- for ship in france (vat/taxes), price is 4,32k / card => roi actually is about 20$/day so 216 days => do you plan an algo which be more profitable with better time roi?

Have a good look again... The CNv1 hashrate advertised is at 150W. That card can be pushed to almost twice that. Do your own math. Wink

Hi dragonmike
If you're right, it's better^^

Can you correct my simulation here:https://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/?sha256hr=14000.00&sha256p=1320.00&sha256pc=0.1000&sha256c=false&scrypthr=580000.00&scryptp=942.00&scryptpc=0.1000&scryptc=false&x11hr=51000.00&x11p=2910.00&x11pc=0.1000&x11c=false&quarkhr=450000.00&quarkp=75.00&quarkpc=0.1000&quarkc=false&groestlhr=45.00&groestlp=825.00&groestlpc=0.1000&groestlc=false&blake256hr=2100.00&blake256p=1000.00&blake256pc=0.1700&blake256c=false&neoscrypthr=400.00&neoscryptp=400.00&neoscryptpc=0.1000&neoscryptc=false&lyra2rev2hr=30.00&lyra2rev2p=600.00&lyra2rev2pc=0.1000&lyra2rev2c=false&cryptonightv7hr=14000.00&cryptonightv7p=150.00&cryptonightv7pc=0.17&cryptonightv7c=true&ethashhr=108.00&ethashp=600.00&ethashpc=0.1000&ethashc=false&equihashhr=1180.00&equihashp=600.00&equihashpc=0.1000&equihashc=false&e=Coinbase

I don't understand what i'm doing wrong on this form cause profit is less than 10$/day (same thing on whattomine)

In cryptunit, it's better (i don't know where i can wrote watts consumption) / stellite announce 27,5$/day
